This morning's audio interview with Duncan Hunter on Laura Ingraham

First, beef up border security by following Duncan Hunter's idea of having multiple contractors building the fence in simultaneous segments. But shorten Hunter's time frame of 6 months, down to 3 months. Reinforce the border patrol with 20,000 troops with shoot-to-kill orders.
Then find them all -- start looking where they are concentrated, eg. corporate agriculture, construction, food processing plants, restaurant and hotel chains. Make the biggest raids first, then follow with sweeps of smaller businesses, street corner casual labor sites, etc.
Arrest them all, including their supervisors, employers and corporate officers. Charge them with every violation for which a strong case can be made -- immigration, labor, tax, etc. Impose gigantic fines on those businesses, fines that cut deeply and painfully into profits. Let these corporate officers plea bargain, but only for reduced sentences (they will all serve time) and reduced fines (still painful but not insignificant).
Immediately process and deport all arrested illegals. If Mexico and other countries of origin won't accept them, then shoot them, load the bodies onto catapaults at the Rio Grande and air-drop them into Mexico.
Those illegals who turn themselves in will be given consideration for re-location to whatever country will accept them, starting with their countries of origin. If no such country is found, they can survive if they accept imprisonment at hard labor. Otherwise, they will die.
These policies will apply to all illegals without respect to age, sex or special pleadings of any kind.
You must live in a rural area. You can get satelite link up through Direct TV. I get my dsl through my phone company, but I also have direct tv and they are always advertising their services. I have no idea how much it costs, tho. I used to have dial up but my son insisted on dsl so he could play all his online war games. I guess dial up was too slow for that. I used to get so irritated that we would get disconnected right in the middle of something and sometimes you couldn’t even get logged on. Well, good luck to you! :)

This campaign will test the thesis that this will truly be an "information age" race, where the rules and methods of the old paradigm will not apply...

I assure you I will IF Fred doesn’t run. I will wait to see the coverage He or any other conservative gets. I expect it will be along the same lines that Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and John Bolton get.
We looked into getting a dish, but it would be very expensive, because first we would have to cut down trees.
I upgraded my dial-up and it’s not that slow, but I can’t use You-Tube very well.
I certainly hope you are right. I am afraid most of us on FR and other conservative websites think most voters are informed. I think the majority of voters get their news from the dinasours.

LOL! I have advocated a death penalty for illegal aliens, myself. Give them till Jan 1,2008 to get their asses out of the country and arrest and prosecute those remaining. I also like the shoot to kill on the border, but I would offer a bounty on their heads so average citizens can pick up some extra cash.lol! I also would change the terminology from illegal alien to foreign invaders. and assume that everyone crossing illegally is a potential terrorist.
However, no presidential candidate could ever endorse these plans because a few people might consider this too extreme!!lol!!
I do think that building the fence would be an excellent place to start. Right now, anyone being deported can turn right around and come straight back across the border. They have nothing to lose but their life. That is why I suggest that their lives be put on the line.
Oh and BTW, You forgot to mention along with gender and age, sexual orientation! We wouldn’t want to discriminate against gays, would we?

I take it that it works better late at night when less people are on line. I could live without utube if I had to, and just read others comments about it. I do like the download speed of dsl though. I used to sit and play solitaire while a page was downloading, very frustrating and time consuming.
It’s going by pretty fast now, and it’s not late at night.
Part of it, though, is probably because I tend to visit the same websites most of the time.
There are many features of my plan that I haven't mentioned.
For example, creating a DNA database on every illegal who is caught. Those people and their offspirng will never qualify for citizenship, a green card or even a one-day visit to our country. Not under any circumstances.
All immigration, except for a very few special cases, will be halted for the foreseeable future, along with student visas and green card visitors. Most foreign students and green card workers will be sent back.
I think I heard that Ann Coulter likes him too! Two strong intelligent(and beautiful) women in Duncan’s corner trumps George Will and Sean Hannity!lol
