Not suprising at all, Islam is a “religion” of war, there is nothing redeeming or peaceful about it.
Less than 25% of America’s colonists fought against the crown.
Most likely 11% thought it would be funny to say that.
On questions like this, surveys almost always show a floor of 10-20% that are just picking the contrarian position.
I have no love for CAIR, but:

Per PEW - “Two percent of them say it can often be justified” Extrapolated to the population of muslims in this country looks like you got a significant number of walking timebombs waiting for an excuse to make trouble.
I’m betting 5% weren’t actually even muslims, but just pretended to be to make embarrassing statements.
The one in four muslims who think this way should be deported.
