I had a 40-50 y.o. woman call 911 to report her ex-husband violated a no contact order by walking by her at a bus stop.
She only spoke Spanish and her adult daughter translated for us.
I understand enough Spanish to know they were speaking about something that was not related to my question.
I quized the daughter about what was being said by her mother.
She responded that her Mother asked, “You don’t have to speak Spanish to be a Police Officer?”
It took all of my professional self control to hold my rage inside.
I don’t even live in a border state unless you count Canada.
We are required to fill out a supplemental form on DV related calls and one of the lines covers “excited utterences.”
I put that down as an excited utterence.
If I can learn to order beer and dinner in several countries native tongues while travelling with the U.S. Navy, surely someone who loves their children can learn a few token words of English to reunite with their most precious loved ones.
But if my perception of most of the adult male illegals I come into contact with at work is correct, they enjoy being single again, driving around a $40,000 Chevy truck, and sending money back to Mexico to keep their family members alive.
Remember that convoluted flowchart somebody made up of Hillary!s health care scam? Sure wish somebody would make something like that for this bill...
And I’ll add this, it’s easy to own a $40,000 dollar truck when you are willing to live 8 deep in a 2 bedroom apt. and work under the table.
What she really wants is more victim voters, not enough in the current bill. Don’t buy it for a minute.
