The following images were presented to Fr. Frank Pavone, at the time he was working at the Vatican, by a team of experts from Poland. The experts presented them also to Pope John Paul II.
Priests for Life is grateful to Professor Andrzej Skawina (Collegium Medicum Jagiellonian University, Krakow) and Dr. Antoni Marsinek, MD (Czerwiakowski Gynecological and Obstetrics Hospital, Krakow) for making these images available, and to the Zrodlo Foundation, Wychowawca Department, for the permission to use them.
We encourage pro-life groups and individuals to use these images, keeping in mind the words that pollster Harrison Hickman spoke to the 1989 conference of the National Abortion Rights Action League, "Nothing has been as damaging to our cause as the advances in technology which have allowed pictures of the developing fetus, because people now talk about that fetus in much different terms than they did fifteen years ago. They talk about it as a human being, which is not something that I have an easy answer how to cure."
CAVEAT: I am a commercial real estate broker, writer, and businessman. I have no medical training and don't play a doctor on television. But I am pretty sure that I seeing a developing human baby here.

You have only to be exposed to the infertility world and hear the cries of joy from the couples who first see that beating heart on the ultrasound machine at 7 weeks (it can be seen as early as 6.5 weeks) to know that we have a baby human beginning here. I mean big, strong, tough guys choking back sobs at finally becoming a Daddy. Nothing beats that until birth, when the little one is in your arms.

I say let a mother choose for any reason in the first trimester and outlaw any other abortion other than effecting the mothers health elsewise.Yes, human life is precious, no doubt.Having said that, many children suffer many times worse after being born than if they had simply been terminated during the first trimester pregnancy. The Founding Fathers knew that the concept of rights was a fragile idea, and placed limits on the government that the government freely ignores. Just ask the cops in the Rodney King case, or better yet ask George Bush the First about his oath to protect the Constitution.

My rights exist not because my government defends them but because I embrace them. In a totalitarian society the rights of the individual do not disappear simply because the governing system doesn’t respect them or because the sheeple give them up willingly or unwillingly. Our rights exist by virtue of the Creator and how he created us.
You can lock me up, blind me, cut out my tounge, stop up my ears, throw away the key, burn my Bible, beat me into submission - but I believe eventually I or others like me will regain the light of liberty in their hearts. I bristle at the notion that we are at the mercy of our laws and governance. They will change and are changing and our forefathers saw far enough ahead to say ‘tear it down again if need be’.
Not realy doug, some people should never ever have kids but biologicly they get pregnant, and after they have them, they sell them, sexualy abuse them and some even put them in microwaves or they teach them how to sell drugs and escape the law because of their age. Tell me these kids don’t suffer.Say what you want, but, hell has it’s heros also, thats a fact.Abortions, killing thousands of terrorist and supporting millions of people,(illegal aliens included) with no legitamate way of fending for themselves is a nasty business. Not my rule doug but it might be the mothers. Will you take personal responsibility for that child when it is born? How many can the rest of America be responsible for if the mothers do not care to do so.We can try and change behaviour but it doesn’t seem to work now does it. How many welfare moms with kids and on crack are you willing to support?
If Doug from Upland cannot take personal responsibility for a child born of a mother with troubles, the child cannot be born. Terminate.
Tell me doug, who should take responsibility for that child if the mother can not or will not do it.
The state plain and simple. The state should protect all who can't protect or care for themselves. That doesn't include lard asses, drug addicts or any other type shirker BTW. It does include old folks, babies and the infirm.
