Now Newit is ripping Timmy to shreds about his comment about Iraqis not shedding any blood

Was he not just brilliant this morning! This is one of the reasons, when Newt was Speaker, that the media absolutely detested him and did all they could to destroy him...he just slaughters them merely by being accurate.

When Hannity has Newt as a guest, it is very interesting listening to him speak.
I have to say tho, these morning shows bring out a different Newt at times.

He sure was .. and Dodd never really answered Timmy's questions .. just gave the usual DNC talking points about how everything will be just fine if we leave

Though I did find it odd in the way he talked about a civil war in Iraq .. as though he was pushing for it and that we should just sit back and let them fight it out

Newt did a superb job. Using our own Revolutionary War was the perfect example since it took from 1776 to 1789 to seat Washington. We did have the OLD government in force and there were many Loyalists including Washington's mother and George's biggest promoter, Lord Fairfax.

When Fairfax heard about the defeat at Yorktown, he exclaimed: "My God, what have I done.

So we had a civil war going on at the same time.

Oh, yeah...It was years before the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution. (The existing states had their own which are the basis for the Federal Bill of Rights.)
