The Taliban and AQ elements have completely had their as$es handed to them over the past (well 5 years in all reality) but of which has only continued at an up-ticked pace over the past 6 months -

War and fighting is simply a part of this region - It is a way of life....that is going to take a decade or more to change (but even then it won't be violence free....some (msm) are trying to make that the goal-posts....Well look around here in the States. We had 19,000 murders last year alone).

Reality is the Taliban have seen three of their top leadership killed in the last 6 months...after being on the run for more then 5 years. All the momentum in Stan is on our side....virtually all the progress is on our side.....Yet the MSM would dare not suggest such (until a DEM was in office, that is).

A suicide bomber killed three German soldiers and four civilians

Maybe the taliban should be investigated for unnecessary civilian deaths like our Marines are.

We have to resign ourselves to a full two generations of combat to defeat these scum, at least. I won’t be surprised if this war lasts all this century. AND, we need to be prepared to do it.
