I know you won’t abandon the President, but I’m concerned that all your turmoil on other threads is making your decision to leave all your FRiends on the Dose. Snugs and silent_jonny and others that post the Dose have given too. I for one, appreciate my FRiends here on the Dose, and enjoy talking to them each night. In that respect, oWf, I feel you are abandoning us. We’re your FRiends. Have you been treated poorly on the Dose???

Thank you for this post showing the author of this very timely quote. I’ve printed this in a Rep Women’s club newsletter but wasn’t sure of the author.
This, imho, is so very appropriate for today’s times. I continuously encourage my Rep friends to SPEAK OUT! I don’t want to sound dramatic but, I believe, we MUST speak out and take a stand for what’s right for our country or our country will continue on a downward slide...

First of all I know I am speaking on behalf of many who have not posted on this thread today Ohio and Onyx we will miss you and thank you for all you have done for this thread and support of your President and the values he holds dear.

The thing about the invasion from the Bush haters and disruptors is one thing. We’ve had those people from the day I joined and long before that when we didn’t have formal registration.
What upsets me even more than that is the banning of people who are good and loyal freepers ... no one can seem to explain to me why certain people were banned: Peach, Howlin, IloveW, OldFriend, the list goes on.
For now I’m standing still. Today was my last day of working outside the home so I hope to hang out more than I have been.
Well I may get banned, I pinged Jim Robinson to that prayer thread and asked him if this is what he wanted to see happening here.
I’m sincerely sorry to see such level-headed FReepers leave. I hope you’ll reconsider or at least check in from time to time.
I pray I always have the courage to stand up for our great country. I have become increasingly outspoken and I don’t intend to stop. Some say it does no good to call/email Senators/Reps....but, we have no chance if we don’t try. And, if many more Americans would speak out, they (congress)may begin to pay attention.
I only wish I lived in D.C.....I would be in front of the Senate building every day (maybe I’d also be in trouble...lol). But, I would LOVE to be able to say a few words to Mr. Reid!
