This is unbelievable. The Democrats had complained that they were completely shut out of House business when the Republicans were in charge.

Hillary even charged that the Republicans ran the House like a plantation when they were in charge.

Isn’t this a high handed power move on the part of Nancy P. just like what they charged Republicans with doing when Reps. were in charge????

She/they won fair and square. We need to not be asleep at the switch next election.

Actually, the Republicans were completely accomodating to the Dem minority...far too accomodating IMHO, to the point of making the committee leaderships "fair", etc.

If the Republicans had tried anything like this there would have been calls from the Dems and from the media for impeachment. They are so absolutely power hungry and hypocritical. it would be a joke if it wasn't so ernestly serious.

Republicans should continue to disrupt proceedings in the House until she dumps this rule change.

I would like to see so much disruption that the demoncrats get NOTHING DONE AT ALL.

No, it's worse. She already is refusing republicans access to bills in a timely manner, shutting out amendments, and the like.

This new rule would change rules that have been in place for almost 200 years, rules that the democrats had available to them but were unable to use to their advantage.

Nancy is having trouble keeping her side together the way the republicans did the past 6 years, so she has to deny the opportunity for her democrats to vote with republicans on anything.

And because they have said it in the past, and their acolytes accept it at face value; 90% on the left believe that any suppression of the minority that she and her coven pull off is perfectly just and proper.

Just watch them scream when, if they ever regain the opportunity sometime down the road, a pubby majority invokes any of those rules against the left.

The Left is never wrong, period. Leftist ideology is consistent in that it is never subject to criticism by anyone except the enemies of the left.
