The Nation ^ | 5/16/2007 | John Nichols

The Nation -- Rudy Giuliani made clear in Tuesday night's Republican presidential debate that he is not ready to let the facts get in the way of his approach to foreign policy.

Silly America -- why do we think we should stand in the way of a global caliphate and the coming of the Muslim apocalypse?

The Nation sides with Ron Paul vs Rudy on our involvement in Iraq and troop withdrawal.

The author of the article also wrote a book about why Bush needs to be impeached. He’s a moonbat.

The Nation: A magazine for nutjobs.

Bump that. Ron Paul’s ideas are just weird. I’m not a huge Rudy fan, but he did a good job putting that guy in his place.

The left sure is puching Ron Paul. I was watching C-Span this morning and noticed all the calls from supposed Republicans and some who say they are demoncrats were pushing Ron Paul.

It sounds like George Soros and Move On are pushing for Ron Paul to be the nominee of the Republican party or at least to split the vote.

More left dirty tricks.

Ron Paul is not credable as a presidential candidate and can’t win the election.

But congressman did not back down, and for good reason. Unlike Giuliani, the Texan has actually read the record.

Of course, Giuliani may not read much. We already have leaders that have admitted that in the past. Then of course Rudy probably didn't have a scripted response written out for statements that required thought either.

The 9-11 Commission report detailed how bin Laden had, in 1996, issued "his self-styled fatwa calling on Muslims to drive American soldiers out of Saudi Arabia" and identified that declaration and another in 1998 as part of "a long series" of statements objecting to U.S. military interventions in his native Saudi Arabia in particular and the Middle East in general. Statements from bin Laden and those associated with him prior to 9-11 consistently expressed anger with the U.S. military presence on the Arabian Peninsula, U.S. aggression against the Iraqi people and U.S. support of Israel.

Interesting. And not one statement about taking over the US or our ATMs.....It just facts and previous statements, that knowledge can't hold a candle to what Fox tells us is true....

Readers of The Nation (and other assorted DUmmies) put Ron Paul second in the non-scientific polls last night.

Luckily for us all, Ron Paul will never be President of the United States. He will never even be the GOP nominee.

He's an isolationist flake of the highest caliber.

Giuliani - a social liberal that the Nation should love. Ron Paul - a social conservative that the Nation should hate. However, Ron hates the Iraqi War, while Rudy supports it. The one issue, Iraqi, has changed the political dynamic for 2008.

Rudy’s colors has shown through last night.

He is trying to make Ron Paul’s statements sound like something they weren’t.

Look closely again at the replay videos available online. I believe that it was a setup that was preprogramed by Rudy and the quetioner. The guy asked a question, that was not related to Ron Paul’s answer; then, Rudy piled on out of turn.

Give me a break.

This will surely be anyalized and replayed by the Democrats to make Rudy appear as an idiot.

Rudy is a dangerous RINO.

We must all beware of him as a government thug and a gun grabber and a promoter of abortion.

I’m looking elsewhere when I pick a GOP candidate.

Anyone notice that Ron Paul looks a lot like the guy who ran the Heaven’s Gate cult? Only compared to Paul, THEY were at least half sane.

It seems to me that all Paul did was string together a bunch of slogans and talking points from the more wacko fringes of talk radio and the Internet and strung them togther as his “Agenda” He is good at the foaming at the mouth rage at everyone and everything but cannot answer even the simplest question of HOW he would DO anything. Frankly of all the candidates, Paul is the worst possible choice. It like he simply made up his mind that what he feels is reality and any facts that do not conform to his feelings he simply ignores. He is our version of Al Sharpton or Dennis Kunchinch.

That doesn't’t mean the left isn’t going to push it. It’s like with anything else, if they can get traction with something, they will use it.

If you can’t see it right in front of you then, there is no need to argue with the clueless and uniformed.

This proves that you are unwilling to review the replay for yourself; so, there’s no need in talking to you.

Have a nice day.
