My training is as a lawyer. When people talk about criminalizing something, I want to know how they expect to mete the criminal punishment. It’s an entirely fair and legitimate question.
That some folks avoid it, or obfuscate, speaks volumes for how well they have really thought this through.

We have this knee jerk emotional response to issues such as abortion, the war on drugs, etc. based on a viewpoint or feeling, with no serious thought through.
If they are a licienced physician yank their license. If not then prosecute them for practicing without a license. The women are the victims. Let them sue in civil court.
