I am sure it is a glorious day in Heaven as one of God's most faithful servants has come Home.

The most important thing right now is to carry on the values that Mr. Falwell preached about and to continue to defend what is right and just.

“The DUmmies are of course turning this into a big joke”

I just saw that I think they are bashing him worse than Reagan when he died.

It is possible, actually, to do good works, but not please God. It is possible to keep a near moral life, and still be utterly lost.

So very true. Our good works are like filthy rags to Him. It is not about us or anything that WE do, it is all about Him, and what HE did for US. No one can EARN their way to Heaven. The only way is through the Son, who took our sin and placed it upon Him. And it pleased the Father to bruise Him.

I do not have my Bible handy for the verses (portions quoted above), but I am certain someone knows them. Reverend Jerry Falwell is Home. Though his family will miss him, they are undoubtedly rejoicing for him as well.

Falwell is one man that did so much for so many. He helped the poor, the unwed mothers, the addicted. The msm and many liberals detested him and not enough credit was given for the numerous great things he did...God bless the Rev. Falwell.

You should see the utter EXPLOSION of hatred from the leftists on various boards about this!

Demons always get giddy when they think they've taken out another Christian. Joke's on them.

Yes. THIS is why I hold my nose and go DUmpster diving at the libbie hangouts—we *must* know the enemy if we are to ever defeat the evil they spout in the name of ‘tolerance’.

To his family, friends and all who dealt with him on a regular basis: Heavenly Father, may Your warm embrace comfort them in their time of grief, and may your love give them strength to continue on with the work the Rev. Falwell has begun. In the name of Your most Holy and Beloved Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, AMEN.

Somehow I don’t think their meeting with God will go as well as Reverend Falwell’s did.

I have sent my prayers for his family.but I have not prayed for Rev Falwell, as I know he is now in the arms of the living god. And I believe the Lord has said to him “ Well done they good and faithful servant;enter now into the house of the lord”

Jerry Falwell spoke in a manner that people could understand, and he believed anyone was worthy of redemption. I wonder who will pick up the torch, and lead the Thomas Rhodes Baptist Church. Jerry Full will be sorely missed.

Prayers on the way for his eternal rest, and for the comfort and consolation of his friends and family.

The Rev. Falwell was a leader of great courage and large impact. America is a better place because of his career and his voice. Although I never met or saw Mr. Falwell in person, it was my distinct impression that he was a much kindlier and more modest man than nearly all liberals, and many conservatives, gave him credit for. Rest in peace.

May he enjoy the reward of Heaven with You.

I will add this: It’s disappointing that Tony Snow, speaking for the White House, had only a perfunctory comment about Falwell. But not surprising. So typical of this administration.

The filth at DU is eye opening. How repulsive can a human being get.

To call these monsters human was your first mistake.

There is no reason to insult humans in such a manner.

Perhaps it was meant as a preliminary comment. Perhaps more will be said later.
