The Rev. Jerry Falwell arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital today around noon after being found unresponsive in his office. Ron Godwin, the executive vice president of Liberty University, confirmed that Falwell was found unconscious in his office after missing an appointment this morning.
Really, they just said he was 73-that would have made him 88.
News like this always leaves me feeling very empty.
I have no ties to the man - and yet that emotion hits me.
Tough day for many many people.
I’m sorry for his family. God called him home.
well, she didn't even need to act to play a strung-out whore.
The libs should be dancing in the streets. In their weird minds, Falwell was more of a threat then Osama Bin Laden
Umm...I just looked over at the DU (at the suggestion of some posters here) and I must say that this it is unbelievable how hate-filled they are over there. It is appalling. Anyway, I thought the Dems were for tolerance.
Dims do not care about life.... They are only about POWER, and Hate. It is a shame.
We should rejoice for a life well spent and for the legacy of a godly man dedicated always to disseminating the Gospel to millions who hungered for the Word.
Rest in peace, dear brother in Christ.

I’m not surprised about the hateful posts coming out of DUmmieland. Hate is pretty much what drives them.
“I just looked over at the DU...”
I archive their rants because their moderator lets it go wayyy too far before stopping it.
What a bunch of hateful people. The language is enough is turn anyone off.
Such class /sarc
I don’t think it is their karma. They just don’t realize the honor a man receives when his enemies rejoice in his death.
Satan probably threw huge party when Jesus died. But oh the hangover on Sunday.....
He has touched the face of Jesus. :*)
I grieve for his family and friends, and pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort them all.
His loss is ours. God rest his soul.
I thought Dobson is fine!
"Soon you will read in the newspaper that D. L. Moody has died, do not believe it! For in that moment I shall be more alive than I have ever been!".
Thanks MeanWestTexan.
Go rest high on that mountain, Reverend.
Oh no. Rest in peace.
Of all the things he did, I most respected him trying to help the people taken advantage by PTL and Jim Bakker. I remember the day he went down the water slide to try to save the investment of all those people who wanted to help PTL and got taken advantage of.
Rest in Peace, Rev. Falwell... prayers for his family and friends...
