I get good service at the little post office on Peterson AFB. There's only one clerk, but except for the lunch hour and right after the military duty day ends, there's not much of a line.
What drove me insane about the nearest post office off-base was that there were three windows, but never more than two clerks working them, regardless of how many dozens of customers were in line. If a third clerk showed up, one of the other two would close his window. And if it was "time", one of the two working might close his window, too. Absolutely no concern for the customer.

The new one is shipping with Vista (I’m not particularly thrilled).
I love my XP pro office here at work. My old computer is just XP home.

I wouldn’t have thought ‘old friend’ was a troll exactly, but she did say some funky stuff most of the time...

Our post office does not deliver mail on Mondays, and they close from noon to 1:30 P.M. for lunch and close at 3:00P.M except Fridays, they stay open till 3:30 p.m.
Is it just PA. or does other areas have this soft job????

I never considered OldFriend a troll Clint....she just never minded voicing her opinion. She went over the top to often though.

I guess you weren’t on OF’s hate mail list.
She would send some really nasty FReepmails to a lot of FReepers, me included.

Exactly my experience. What also kills me is all the joking around and casual talking to customers when a line is going out the door.

I guess I didn’t pay that much attention to OldFriend. I remember talking to her fondly.

It’s one thing to debate openly on a thread, and another to do it away from peer scrutiny.
