"dangerous extremism is the willingness to pursue ideological purity and societal perfection at the expense of fundamental human imperatives." Yes, and in this case it will hopefully lead to the eventual extinction of these so-called "child-free" psychos.
Darwin wins again.

The more the wackos stop breeding...
...the less wackos there will be in the future.
So there is a bright future to look forward to.

Apparently Mr. Kaplan does not remember HIS parents taking HIM to restaurants so that HE and HIS fellow replicants could understand the protocols of dining out.

This is hilarious. They’re so miserable and hopeless. I really hope these people and those who agree with them stick to their convictions. They’ll be extinct in no time.

Here in Canada, the most militant enemy of human fecundity is environmental activist Paul Watson, president of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Earlier this month, he declared that the world's human population -- "the AIDS of the earth," as he puts it -- should be cut by 85%. Humans would revert to a car-free "primitive lifestyle" and, under the creepiest part of his plan, only "a very small percentage of humans" would be permitted to reproduce. THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE!

Satire couldn’t get any weirder.
It’s fine by me if the likes of Gaby Kaplan don’t want to reproduce. I don’t want them to, either.

Question: Does Al Gore purchase carbon offsets from childless (childfree?) couples so that he can continue to feel warm and fuzzy about his sasquatch-sized carbon footprint?

Bingo! Self-correcting problem.
