Is it just me, or does it seem that the vice president has gained some weight? He needs to be very careful about that, considering his heart history.

I think he has been that weight for a while but yes I agree with you he does need to loose some.

In an earlier interview, he was asked about his health and if he should be taking such a long trip etc and he said that his daughter was along to watch over him and that she was assuring that he eat healthy etc. Probably Lynne would have accompanied him but she is probably home with Mary awaiting the birth of the next grandchild.

I was relieved to read today that Liz Cheney did not go to Baghdad with him. She and some other staffers were flown to the UAE.
