Jerusalem, 14 May (AKI) - The Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was taken to hospital on Sunday after suffering a stroke, according to a report on the Palestinian news agency Maan, quoted by Israeli news site Ynet. The condition of the 65-year old leader is reported to be serious and family members have been arriving at the hospital, the report said.
This means that the betting pool for who goes first: Castro or Quadaffi? just got interesting!
Gaddaffi, I hear, has been one of those anonymous leaders helping the US with info in the War against Al qaeda.
Al Qaeda’s been trying to overthrow Gaddaffi and take over Libya for quite some time now.

Mere words cannot adequately express my...grief. Yeah, that’s what it is. Grief.
This is not good. It might even be bad. The USA was beginning to do business with Libya again.
I understand how my way of thinking gets folks nervous but I believe that these inbreds understand only power and they take advantage of any weakness.
Nuke A few places in Iran and Syria. Not populated places but deserts where very few folks live. Then let them know and understand that if their B.S. doesn’t stop NOW then population centers will be hit next. And if that doesn’t do the trick then their Religious centers and cities will be next.
Enough B.S.
But our “leaders” have a worry of history and how they’ll be thought of instead of how many Americans are being killed.
Assad would be pushing up Daisys and the crazies in iran also but instead we kiss their asses. Why?
Oil? I don’t think so. I think it is because our military industrial complex needs a boogie man to continue the multiple hundreds of millions of dollars of appropriations from us each year.
But then again I’m sorta nuts.
Wacky gaddaffi is playing both sides against each other.
He is wiley and crazy.
Once again he could have been taken out years ago but we need him more then he needs us.
WE need boogie men like him to keep the money rolling for our military industry.
No, don’t take him and others out then we won’t appropriate hundreds of billions a year for defense.
He’s only 65? I thought he was, like, 80.
Well, he looks better than a lot of Hollywood men (and women!) do. |
