Thanks for your support at the rally on Thursday. We have heard much talk and not much action from the Republicans lately. Please send this message out to all you can. I will be trying to reach all Republican Clubs in the area. If you have contacts, help us out. I arrived on Time and Met My Friends there, It was a Nice showing on a Cold windy day.
about 50 souls, and about 5 media persons.
melanie had 2 Animal Handlers there with Chimps wearing French berets! very Funny! We had a good time and I hope someone can post some Pictures??

No. I had put in for the schedules to have off both days. Will travel to visit family. Will get to see my nephew the Marine. Today as many was a bit brutal. We literally have a skeleton staff as is in the electrical department due to firings and people transfering out, yet the management feels such a busy department that needs people in it all the time to service at times dozens streaming in with questions, need various type electrical wire/cable cut to length etc., can get away with only having one of the remaining few take on five or more hours alone.
I must consider my alternatives. This stuff is literally turning me to skin and bones at this point.
To boot. I have a new supervisor that knows absolutly nothing about electrical things. Like I have said more then once. I have never seen an operation like this in my life and I have been around a while. The only reason it can stay open is because of the huge influx of people, many in the building trades. So they make their money regardless of the quality of sales associates, specialist, and cashiers.
We can have twenty or more trucks/pick-ups waiting at the doors at 6AM, then as the door opens they come streaming in and tear the place up. Imagine spending say an hour in just half an aisle that contains a few hundred type switches, recepticles, switch/recepticle plates, GFCIs, circuit breakers to put hundreds of parts in their proper boxes on the shelves, then you leave the aisle to the next one, to cut wire for say ten people lined up. You hear all kinds of crashing of parts next aisle, people talking, the sounds of metal conduit pipe crashing to the floor, metal utility boxes being thrown into carts etc..
Then you walk back to that aisle once you spent a half hour cutting and wrapping a tagging all the cables you cut for the customers. You see shit strewn all over the floor. Boxes of switches etc., dumped all over the floor.
NOW. It is up to me to get all the stuff back on the shelves extremly quickly, and in the hundreds of correct boxes, howe ver, every time I place stuff in a correct box, e.g. some particular white duplex switch plate, I may see ten parts thrown into that box that do not belong there.
Then bingo, a bunch of people waddle with their kids into another aisle, while I barely hear over the loud speakers over the loud hard music the play, George from electrical please pick up phone for customer assisstance, while other people stream in with questions about things in seasonal, say bug sprays, garden tools, hoses, etc., and more people come in with questions about electrical needs, then a few Sales Associates, will come into the aisle and tell me I must help people in our lighting and fan sections or say our main light bulb aisle, or say at the far end of the store, where we carry all our flourecent fixtures....
This is what I put up with five days a week on wide varying daily schedules that can start from 5AM and end at 11PM, 8 hour shifts.
It is a wonder when I finally get home I can answer the dozens of pings I get from you good people.
At any rate. I got this weekend off. Hope I don't think about the hell hole to much.
I do hope most if not all our Freepers shall have a really nice weekend. I know I shall have our honorable fallen heros in the for front of my mind.
