Morning snugs. I won’t be here very long. Got to unload the pickup so I can head to Church later.
CNN did some surprising +ve reporting from Iraq yesterday showing kids happily hanging with our Soldiers.
He is not much better than the libs about interrogating terrorists. That stance is surprising since he was a POW in Nam.
Thanks. MSM is awaiting him to withdraw Brit’s support in Iraq.
I think CNN is trying to get some conservatives. I have noticed a few “fair and balance” reporting. FNC seems to be going the other direction.
The state of Oklahoma also passed a major anti-illegals bill this week.
Would that make supporters of this kind of legislation Graham Cracker bigots or is it Cracker Graham bigots?
I think he is comparing himself with those terrorist detainees.
Did you fall out of your chair or see flying pigs?

Out of the gate, Russert hits McCain with a poll of those for and against the war.
Since the topic of Rinos is up here is a link plus the mother load of all topics this week:
http://www.anklebitingpundits.com/
Here is some of what you will find there:
1. Coddling Rinos too long?
2.War on House Pubbie leadership?
3.Quick bitesâRomney(he handled Sharkton like a pro)Economy(tax revenues are up 9% spending only 3% budget could be balanced next year,(Rush) see articles link also heard the same yesterday from Monica Crowley and Larry Kudlow)John Edwards(got caught supporting the wrong lendersâhis sub-prime debacle)Pensions.
4.Pro-choice Rudy
5.**moderate pubbies have a meeting with GW, complain about the war, very interesting.
6.Romney/Rudy take
7.Success in IraqâRoggio on the groundâ great take on our success,we kill 13 terroristsâ stuff the msm forgot to cover.
8.Boehner promises to reassess Iraq in Sept. Is GW giving in to the rats when he promises to compromise on spending bills even a little,or has he outslicked them one more time?
9.Malkin on jihadists at FT. Dixâthank God for some fast action by a citizen.
10.Steyn on Sarkozyâs short honeymoonâIMHO I will refrain from any French jokes for a while until I see how France behaves with a new pres.

McCain: The war after Shock & Awe was badly mismanaged. Not enough troops initially.
At the time, based on the information we had, it was good to take Hussein out.
***The state of Oklahoma also passed a major anti-illegals bill this week.***
You’d think that the voters are sending a message to the politicans, but the politicians are not hearing or wanting to listen.

McCain: I know based on my expertise what is best for this country.
[Wow, I didn’t realize Johnny became G_d.]

I learned yesterday on talk radio, forget which show, that illegals kill far more every year than have already been killed in Iraq in all the years we have been there. You never hear the dbm mention it at all, they must have forgot.
One of those strange situations where I believe the majority support staying now we are there but would say that they did not agree with going in initially but once you are there you have to finish the mission.

McCain is opposed to the Iraqi government taking a 2 month vacation during the war.
[He doesn’t voice such concerns with the US Congress takes their frequent vacations. Speaking of which, one will probably be coming us in a couple of weeks — Memorial recess, followed by the Fourth of July recess, and then the Labor Day recess.]
