The point is that an Atheist isn’t anymore likely to have an abortion than a Christian is.

Let’s not forget, there were no Atheist on the Supreme Court when they passed Roe v Wade, all 9 on the court were Christians. Not to mention even if they wanted to, there’s not enough Atheist in congress and the state legislators to stop all the Christians in power from passing a Constitutional Amendment banning all abortions, so it’s actually Christians who are keeping abortions legal in the country.

The two charts you quoted aren't specific enough to conclude that.

Do you not know the difference, or are you used to citing half-assed conclusions and being taken seriously?

Let’s not forget, there were no Atheist on the Supreme Court when they passed Roe v Wade, all 9 on the court were Christians. To paraphrase...

If anyone has a nominal connection with Christianity, you *must* count them as a Christian, if any aspect of their behaviour is favorable to "freethinkers" or "brights" or "atheists". But if their behaviour is exemplary, suddenly change your tune to resort to "decoupling" and claim that there is no *necessary* correlation.

Some Christians try to play the same game: but it's false both on logical grounds and theological grounds.

For someone who is attempting to assume the mantle of a superior intellect, a word of advice: please try not to make elementary logical errors at the beginning, unless you are just trolling.

Cheers!

And there it is,the problem. People who insist on believing that they are Christians but do not believe in the laws of God are more dishonest than any atheist. I for one am Christian but there are many who bring scandal to God and his church by living lives contrary to the Gospels. I am a Catholic and those priest who molested children were evil in what they did especially being in the position of power that comes with clergy. But man has always had a conflict with God that is exactly why Christ came into the world. I will not say I have all the answers and my memory of holy scripture is falling short along with everything to do with my memory, but I know who I love. And the love of God makes me want to be a better person. Hey I think that line was from a movie,As Good As It Gets? The one holy scripture that rings so very true today is Isaiah 5-20,Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. And that is what Christians who support abortion and homosexuality are doing. The once saved always saved point of view never made sense to me. I mean I guess you can do just about anything, sin, and there will be no problem with God because of what Jesus did. And that mentality can lead to doing many things contrary to the gospels and bring scandal to his church, the body of Christ.

Who SAYS those people are all Christians? Some may nominally go to church, but they may not be born-again believers who follow Christ and serve Him. I wouldn’t expect Ginsburg to be Christian, for example.
