I still don’t think we have the whole story and doubt we ever will but is sure isn’t as one sided as the original article makes it seem (good cop shot by bad guy).
I would bet that it will go down as ‘good cop shot by bad guy’ but there are many questions still unanswered like why did the cop pepper spray the diver and passenger? Why did the cop go back toward his car (turned his back on bad guy?), etc.
I am NOT making judgments for or against the cop. I will say that the shooter was wrong at that time to shoot the cop as it seems he was not being threatened by cop, still there does seem to be a question of where the cops gun was (holstered or not?).
LOTS of ??s here.
Feud turned deadly in N.H. Passerby guns down police officer's killer
CORRECTION: There are NO “FORMER” Marines.
Seriously, WTF is wrong with you?
WTF is wrong with you when you go putting words in my mouth?
Regardless of the long standing issues between the two, Kenney had been stopped justifiably.
Or perhaps harassed unjustifiably? Or does that possibility not enter into your mind? That officer could've been following him for weeks waiting for a chance to bust him on some minor infraction just to cause the guy grief.
Wouldn't the cop have been better served to get somebody else there...as requested?
You must live in a snow globe where everything is perfect!
Well, I’ll keep you in mind.
If a rogue cop ever comes after me you’ll be one of the first to know what I did. :-)
“This is a tragedy of epic proportions.” Come on now, you aren’t writing for the NYT.
New Hampshire used to be really nice.

as proven by this incident.
Thanks happen just after I moved to NH
First Impression: Police bully reaps what he sews.
Pepper spraying the passenger, is that typical?
“First the article reads pinned the officer underneath, then Floyd was somehow able to position his Toyota 4x4 in such a say as to protect the downed officer.”
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who was confused by that.

ARRRRGH, that’s some article. I don’t know if it’s given me a toothache, or a stomachache. I can only suppose if his parents had a “coffee plantation in Hawaai”, that they got some money.
philman, You obviously have a problem with police officers, and you obviously know nothing about the job they do. Rant on!
“Thanks for your opinion, no matter how wrong it is.
...and you obviously know nothing about the job they do.
And you’ve just shown that you have no idea whatsoever what you’re talking about. How do you know I “know nothing about the job they do” without knowing me or what I’ve done in my life?”
My opinion is based on your reaction to a garbled report of an incident in which two people died. Your first reaction was to blame the officer. I know all I need to know to write you off as an angry cop-hater.
