I live on a 25 mph street and people routinely flash through doing 45 mph.

Sounds like parents in a school zone. Their reasoning is that
they have children in the school, therefore they have privilege.

In my opinion there are former Marines. If you aren’t collecting the paycheck, you’re a “former”.

Just saying and that’s my opinion.

"Because of Bode Miller’s status, this baby’s going to trial. I hope Floyd has a good lawyer.

Why do you say this?

From Floyd's viewpoint, the officier was shot, he came to the officier's aid, gave Kenny a chance to drop his gun, and when he didn't, he shot him.

There are many unanswered questions but I see nothing Floyd did that was wrong. He (I am sure) felt his life, as well as others lives were in danger (as evident by the fact that Kenny just shot a police officer (from the story, in the back).

So I ask again, why do you think Floyd needs a good attorney?

Because of Bode Miller’s status, this baby’s going to trial.

Not the buzz that I'm getting. Miller had issue's with Officer MacKay himself, being quoted in Sports Illustrated saying that he fought a speeding ticket in order to tweak the exact same officer his cousin later killed.

My bet: Miller will be in the news for a traffic beef or a dust up with the local cops before the summer is over.

Google "Bode Miller" and "car" and you'll see that Mr. Miller has had issue with traffic laws himself.

Kenney's uncle was on local news in Boston unequivocally stating that his nephew was trouble.

If Bode Miller has any sense at all, he'll move to Canada or some other jurisdiction were the local cops don't know his reputation.

You’re confused. The perp was driving a Toyota, the good samaritan was in a Chevy.

Incorrect. Once you’re out of the Corps you become a former Marine, it’s not pejorative to describe one as such. Despite the claims of many there are also plenty of ex-Marines. Ritter, Garwood, Glenn, Dellums, Kovic, Lonetree, Oswald, Dennehy, Carville, Murtha, et al.

To refer to you as a moron is an insult to morons. Where, in any of this, did it say that the cop was trying to kill him? The officer was giving him a ticket when the perp drove away. When he forced the perp to stop, the officer pepper-sprayed him (no deadly force) and began to walk back to the cruiser. He was then gunned down (pistol not drawn by officer) and then run over.
You are beneath contempt and obviously have some psychotic hatred for police officers and should get professional help immediately.

You're no more intellectually challenging than the others who have previously addressed me with their ravings.
Where, in any of this, did it say that the cop was trying to kill him?
Where, in any of this, did I say that he was?

Get that POS article out of here.

Some idiot shoots at people because he doesn’t like his taxes than shoots two cops because they are giving him a ticket.... and he is some sort of hero?

Most Marines I know say “Once a Marine, always a Marine”

I would refer to Ritter, Garwood, Dellums, Kovic, Lonetree, Oswald, Dennehy, Carville, Murtha, et al as “Disgraced Former Marines”

Yes he was a dem Senator, but I would never call John Glenn anything but an American Hero.

I was in a room with John Wayne once when he farted. Didn’t make him any less of a great American man in my estimation.

Pepper spraying the occupants and then walking away?

That's the part that has me questioning the whole thing. What did the officer say and do when he approached the car the second time? Why wouldn't he demand that the driver exit the vehicle and assume the position so that he could cuff him? And if he did so demand and was refused, why would he turn his back and walk away? This is a screwed up situation from both sides, and I say that as someone with absolutely no sympathy for the speeder.

Certainly Murtha belongs on that list.

"Some idiot shoots at people .... and he is some sort of hero?"

In today's environment we must give due consideration to the underlying cause. It is no longer proper to refer to those with diminished capacity with that term.

If Che Guevara is some kind of hero why not this guy? Did you read the entire story?

Have you ever had any dealings with City of Chicago bureaucrats? Shooting the first dozen or so would just bring more of them around and they would want a larger bribe, wasting all of them is not a viable option.

If Che is some kind of hero to you...... well, nothing personal, but let’s just say I won’t be taking any advice, legal, medical, political or otherwise from you.

His status? He is a freaking skiier, and apparently not a very good one. Get a grip.
