Don Ho's Daughter Found Dead
AP via Forbes ^ | May 11, 2007

The late Do Ho's daughter, Dayna Ho-Henry, was found dead Friday, her brother said.

The 51-year-old's death comes less than a week after the Waikiki Beach funeral for her father, who died April 14 of heart failure at age 76.

Ho-Henry was one of the legendary singer's 10 children. The entertainer is best known for his catchy signature tune "Tiny Bubbles."

No foul play is suspected, police spokeswoman Michelle Yu said.

"The family is grieving the loss of my sister and we're just trying to make sense of it," said Ho-Henry's brother, Dwight Ho.

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office said Friday afternoon that it had no information to release about the death.

Very sad. The Air Force gave her father a wonderful memorial. http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123052988

5/6/07: Don Ho's daughter Dayna Ho-Henry was in the water, holding the hand of his widow, Haumea Hebenstreit Ho, after they spread his ashes off Waikiki yesterday afternoon.

Rest in peace.

There was an article in my local paper about a man who fled the state in order to not have to testify on behalf of another man who was standing trial for murder.

The men were related by blood (brothers) and they both shared the same last name.........Brothers.

I had to take 3 Tylenol after reading the article.

Other stories which crossed the wire (much earlier in the day than this one) are saying the death was accidental. Don’t know. It’s still really early.

It's a good thing that Dr. Joyce Brothers, while drinking Hills Brothers coffe, wasn't somehow interjected into that article, or I'd be in a rubber room right now.

How sad. I saw his show a couple of years ago when I visited my son who was working on the island. Prayers for this family who have had to endure two losses in such a short period of time.
