Re: Statement re Democratic National Committee
Dear Mr Robinson:
We are writing on behalf of our client, the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
A post by coffee260 on FreeRepublic.com today states that this morning, on the Quinn & Rose show on XM, co-host Quin stated that the DNC chairman, Gov. Howard Dean had called Gov Kathleen Sebelius (D-Kans) around 5:00am on morning after a tornado destroyed the town of Greensburg, Kansas and discussed with here what to say about the tornado and how to blame the war in Iraq and the Bush administration on a slow response to the aftermath.
The statement was made by Mr Quinn, repeated on FreeRepublic, is demonstrably, unequivocally and absolutely false. Gov Dean had no such conversation with Gov Sebelius, ever.
No effort was made by FreeRepublic to contact anyone at the DNC for comment or to check the accuracy of these statements before they were published. FreeRepublic not only repeated this statement, but further stressed that Quinns source was extremely reliable and in a position that would give him direct knowledge of these revelations.
The statements quoted above are false and defamatory, are libelous and slanderous and clearly threaten to interfere with the DNCs operations and ability to solicit support and raise funds by predjuding the organization in the eyes of the Democratic Party supporters and the public. For these reasons, we demand that FreeRepublic immediately cease and desist from Further dissemination of the above quoted statements or any statements similar in substance and immediately post a retraction of these statements in a location on its web pages at least as prominent as that on which the original story appeared.
Please let us know by noon, May 11, 2007, whether you intend to comply with these requests.
Thanks for your time and immediate attention to this important matter.
Sincerely yours,
(Signature)

This has legs everywhere.
Hey DNC no need to get snippy!
BTW did I mention that I think all Democrat leaders are spineless cowards when it comes to fighting the war?
On the letter it shows sandler@sandlerreiff.com
Hey DNC, try this on one for size:
I heard someone, somewhere, tell me this one time that:I'll be looking for the letter from your moron lawyers. That's SPIFF. S...P...I...F...F...
Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean Eats Baby Kittens
SANDLE, REIFF and YOUNG, P.C doesn’t need to be reminded that when one pisses into the wind, one tends to get wet and smelly. After all, with the DNC as thier client they’re already wet and smelly.
AFAIC, by repeating Quinn & Rose’s statement, FR is merely doing it’s part to piss off the heathen left.
bttt
Typical liberal bullshit. They tout the “Freedom of Speech” as long as it means demeaning our own country or burning a flag. Meanwhile all the liberal nutbags in the Demonrat party go around punching Capitol Hill police, hiding bribe money in their congressional offices, getting drunk and crash their cars at 4:am and claim they were on the way to vote, making claims that the Prez knew about 9/11 and other outrageous, libelous and slanderous rants.
Typical of socialists/communists, speech is wonderful, as long as they agree.
Those DNC commie-vampires are sniveling about being “smeared”, lolololololololololololololololol!!!!!!!!!
They are expert at ruthless smears.
Wow, makes me even more determined to pass this story around!
Joseph E Sandler rapes border collies. I saw it on the internet so it must be true.
Please let us know by noon, May 11, 2007, whether you intend to comply with these requests.
So, which is it? A demand, or a request? And it looks like they're most concerned that it will "interfere with the DNCs operations and ability to solicit support and raise funds by predjuding the organization in the eyes of the Democratic Party supporters and the public."
Things that make you go...."hmmmmmm....."
It's not whether the charges are true or not...
It is the seriousness of the charges.
Prove it ain't true
Isn't that what the Dems always say?
You can get the story on Quinn and Rose’s homepage, and listen to the radio broadcast.

MEGoody to Mr. Sandler: Suck up and bust.
Yeah, even if it's fake, it's accurate, right?
Wonder if Joseph E. Sandler, esq. et al. make a career of shilling for clumsy RAT politicians. I suspect a look into that law firm’s specialties might be interesting.
To quote Howling Howie....AAAAARGH
