1) "the economic problems"...WHAT economic problems, ^specifically^????
2) Where is this being said and who is saying it? Give us a quote from someone or somewhere?
"Big Lie" activities being used....
I hear ya, the first couple sentences are enough to gag a maggot.
Wake up before it is too late.
I agree, I stopped reading here..
In this unjust war, according to the Pentagon, more than 100 immigrant soldiers have died in combat while many more continue to enlist. The most recent data shows that 69,300 foreign-born men and women are serving in the U.S. armed forces, of which 43 percent (or 29,800) are not U.S. citizens. Many of these immigrant soldiers joined the military as a result of recruiter promises that they would one day receive a good job, a quality college education, and a better life. As in the past, those immigrants who do happen to make it alive and come home, face another war - the enforcement war being waged against our immigrant communities.
Oh the enforcement of immigration laws, which the immigrant soldiers complied with? The same laws provided for by the US Constitution that the soldiers took an oath to defend?
Gee, Prof. Calderon, if you could somehow tie the Iraq war, global warming, corporate greed and the plight of the poor illegal into one thesis, you would be the liberals’ hero. You’re almost there. Try just a bit harder. Think of the grant money.
Calderon is a mega moonbat.
1) Immigrants don’t go somewhere with economic problems. If the new place will suck just like home, why leave in the first place. It’s a good thing this guy teaches Sociology, as opposed to an academic discipline.
2) An unjust war can’t blame anyone for anything. It is not, in and of itself, an agent. He wants to slam George W. Bush for the problems suffered by undocumented workers, so he has tied himself into a logical Gordian Knot in his attempt.
You are correct, Cletus, this man is a hard-blowing, Talking Point-O-Matic. He has no earthly clue about the world around him.
I am having a tough time here trying to convince some democrat friends that this is democrat talking points. They will not believe me and blame all this on Bush and Republicans.
They are normal citizens and vote democrat and don’t even know what they are voting for. I think they are not unlike alot of other Americans.
Does this earthworm have an email address?
Looks like Hose-A has been educated far beyond his intelligence.
Great - here we go again....
This guy (Calderon) should move to Cuba... And stay there.
But for want of a few good men (and women) rallying the law-abiding citizens, this nation is as much as lost.
The infiltration of the educational, religious and longstanding social institutions by those who seek this nation’s ruination, all the while mouthing their love for it, is nigh complete. The complicity of the media and all too many elected officials only hatsens it.
I’m sure he does. His school would issue him one. He may have put to many postage stamps on his monitor screen while sending emails, to be able to read your comments however. He strikes me as being just about that dumb.
Another nutjob Claremont professor, lots of them at the Claremont colleges. Guys like this just make me sick.
He’s a sociology professor. That’s what you do when you can’t pass Freshman calculus.
