Has there been any reports of how successful this attack may have been if it had been carried out? I could see that by surprising the guard or guards at the entrance gate that a few men would be killed, but what would happen after the got inside the base? The military needs to study this issue, if they have not done so already.

There’s a picture of them on several of the other threads about this. One of them is blond, and two of them are fairly light-skinned with European features - I think these are the three Albanians who are brothers. They all of the Islamic wierd beard, though.

IMO, the "need" for Big Brother-type oversite has been drummed up because our politicians are too PC to utilize the best domestic surveillance system --- the American people.

And thus we see the fruits of the Clinton/Berger/Albright appeasement strategy of the 1990s. By supporting Islamic terrorism in the Balkans, the troika sought favor with the PLO and other Islamic radicals. This was supposed to bring the world a “lasting peace” in the ME and Clinton his coveted Nobel Peace Prize.

This policy did nothing except embolden the Islamists and shows why it would be incredibly dangerous to allow Dems to re-occupy the White House.

Well, maybe clinton, berger, and albright did it (and Blair and Schroeder as well). But I don’t see President Bush or Condi Rice doing a damned thing to fix this mess. Not a peep out of anyone in the administration. Not a peep out of any of the conservative gurus or talk show hosts, either. Complete silence from everyone but a few Freepers.
