LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The owner of an upscale steakhouse in Louisville said he asked O.J. Simpson to leave his restaurant the night before the Kentucky Derby because he is sickened by the attention Simpson still attracts.
"I didn't want to serve him because of my convictions of what he's done to those families," Jeff Ruby said in a telephone interview Tuesday. "The way he continues to torture the lives of those families ... with his behavior, attitude and conduct."

Now OJ's lawyer is saying it was racism and is going after Ruby's liquor license.

Ol’ OJ is really racking up the good deeds while on earth isn’t he?

Unless Ted Kennedy was there at the same time, I don’t think he’s got much of a “racism” case!

Seems simple to prove in court that either a black man or a white man "....continues to torture the lives of those families ... with his behavior, attitude and conduct....",p> Racism? Going after the man's liquor license?
I agree with Michael Savage. A day will come when the general population is going to rise up against lawyers; the left educated elite.

Bravo.
There are still some people with character and backbone left after all.

I would say that race has something to do with this because if OJ was white, he would not have been acquitted and he’d be sitting in prison right now in which case this incident would never have happened in the first place.

I was at the Derby, and saw OJ at Cevechi on Bardstown rd. at around 9 o;clock Sat. night. A friend in our group took her picture with him. The sight of OJ totally creeped me out.

I was at the Derby this year as well, and really wish I had seen O.J.
At minimum, I would have inquired if he was there in his search for the “real killers”.
I will patronize this guy’s restaurant in the future. We end up doing a family dinner in Louisville every year or two; my BIL is up there.

Beckwith,
It was kinda funny actually...when she said she was going to do it no one believed her. I told her to ask him to try on one of her gloves. The OJ jokes went on for hours.
BTW, If you saw/met my friend “creepy” would be the last word you would use to describe her. She is very funny, and extremely attractive!

I would probably have served him after I burned his steak to a crisp and spit in his potato’s and gravy.
I cant imagine anyone wanting to have their picture taken with a killer, but the world is filled with strange people.
The lawyer may find that the Louisville liquor board isnt filled with OJ jurists. At least I hope it isnt.

Bono,
This story puzzles me...I never saw anyone ask him to leave, and Ceviche is not a steak house. The freakiest part about the whole thing was that the woman to his left, that we assumed was his date had a striking resemblance to Nicole Brown.

This is the restaurant OJ was at after the Derby.

It is not a steak house, and no one asked him to leave.Huh?
The story is about OJ getting thrown out of a steakhouse the night BEFORE the Derby.
To: TopoGigio
This story purports to tell what happened the day before that. Presumably even OJ wouldn’t try to get thrown out of the same restaurant two days in a row!

You can tell a lot about a person by how they would respond to seeing OJ Simpson in public.
