Protect Unborn Babies
The moment the Supreme Court of the United States issued a partial-birth abortion decision — ruling on the side of LIFE — Senate and House liberals began to cry foul. In a serious attempt to undercut the highest court of our land and thwart the pro-life movement, Rep. Nadler and Sens. Clinton, Schumer, and Boxer introduced legislation, the "Freedom of Choice" Act, that would overturn the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act and prohibit any future congressional endeavor to protect the life of the unborn on a federal level. It is a selfish, political play by House and Senate liberals that should be overpowered by the united voice of the American people, raised in protest. Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), are pushing the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), which they say would preserve a woman’s health by “safeguarding her ability to make reproductive health care decisions free from interference.” “No right is more fundamental to a woman than the right to abortion,” said Boxer. “No court, no legislature—NOBODY—should be allowed to interfere with this right.”

When I posted earlier, I noted that this thread had been idle since last May. What that tells me is that the proposed legislations are going to be fought out during this year, and the call from LaHaye’s org pretty much proves that.
Y’know, The Good Book says there’s no rest for the wicked, but it seems like there’s no rest FROM the wicked, either. At least not in THIS life.
Meanwhile, we have enough to keep us busy, loving God, trusting Him, obeying Him, putting on His Armor and fighting the GOOD FIGHT of faith.
