The U.S. and Great Britain looked like old friends Monday. The queen of England is in Washington, D.C. A state dinner is set to take place but one person will be missing. Nevada senator Harry Reid decided to not accept his invitation, but many others will be there.
It was a day of high pomp and pageantry and the weather sparkled. The kind of day one would expect to welcome a queen. On the south lawn of the White House, 7,000 invited guests wore their best hats and best smiles for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
"It is a moment to take stock of our present friendship, rights taking pleasure from its strengths while never taking these for granted," said Queen Elizabeth II.

Harry Reid Passes on White-Tie Affair With British Queen It can't be his lack of a white tie as he easily could have used his surrender flag...

It could be that Harry Reid is mentally ill.
It could also be that he's pretending to be utterly outraged at President Bush, in order to take less heat from the wacko-extremist Democrats he wants to keep -- which could mean he is mentally ill.
Or, there may be another explanation for Harry Reid's behaviour, lately. Anyone?

Maybe his white tie was dirty.

I’d say the explanation is that Reid is an utterly classless punk.
He shouldn’t even have been invited. But since he was, it’s good that he declined. Those at the dinner didn’t have to put up with this disgusting man.

We would not want that treasonous POS there anyway — he does not represent this country in any way, IMHO.

I’d say the explanation is that Reid is an utterly classless punk. Maybe he thinks that's what it means, to live in a classless society?
