Yet another “guess what, Giuliani is pro-abortion” thread.

Just in case someone missed the 1,564 prior ones.

"I am still going to vote for Rudy if he is running against Hilliary or Barrack Hussein."And you're obviously very proud of that fact. Just how many and which of your conservative principles have you compromised in order to come to this statement?

As long as Rudy lies about being personally opposed to abortion, these threads will keep being posted.

Nonsense. People are posting positive stuff all the time. But you have to take the good with the bad, and not expect folks to ignore the conservative shortcomings of a candidate, particularly if he’s someone who is supposed to represent our side.

Yes, and let's not forget that his ex wife (Donna Hanover) was in the play "The Vagina Monologues". Surely we can use that against him.

So a man who will seeks to hold the reigns of power in the Oval Office ... was dumb enough to marry a biotch like that.

Funny, that argument doesn't win me over.

The topic contains no real relavant revelations. We all know that Rudy is weak on right to life.

Tell that to his supporters. They claim Rudy hates abortion, even though he gave money to Planned Parenthood and has a perfect rating from NARAL. They claim he will appoint anti-Roe strict constructionist judges, even though, on two occasions, Rudy has said his version of a strict constructionist could uphold Roe as precedent.

As long as the Rudy boosters tell lies about Rudy and abortion, we will keep telling the truth. Sorry if you find that offensive, but I find a rabid pro-abort type seeking the GOP nomination to be FAR more offensive to the integrity of the GOP.

How ‘bout finding something good to say about a single candidate

None of you ever have anything positive to say about any Republican candidate.

If "disingenuous" were like water, you'd be drowning in it.

Right, I’m a troll. I’ve been a member longer than you have. Try a little deeper thinking.

You didn’t have a point to prove.

>>>>>I’m really tired of Republicans attacking other Republican candidates.

FR is a conservative website, not a GOP website. One major political objective for FReepers is to expose the liberal record of candidates like Rooty.

>>>>>None of you ever have anything positive to say about any Republican candidate.

That's simply not true. Most of the opposition on this forum is geared towards Giuliani and for obvious reasons.

"Mayor Giuliani has been consistent in his position -- he is personally opposed to abortion, but at the same time he understands it is a personal and emotional decision that should ultimately be left up to the woman," said Maria Comella.

Translation: Mayor Giuliani has been consistently inconsistent.

Either it is a human baby deserving of legal protection, or it is not. There's no real room for middle ground.

He’s toast. If he wanted to be president he should have ran as a democrat.

Reagan Man is right, Eva. Associated with the Giuliani drumbeat has been this desire to "get over" matters that carry broad historical import - the things that make America less American, the things which seek to tear down precisely that which makes the WOT worth fighting.

If the motivation behind your comment is not that, then I can appreciate your frustration at the negativity as we try to cull the field. Do remember, though, the the founder of FR as a disabled American, has a deeply personal stake in how we as a society treat those deemed somehow "less worthy" - the disabled and the unborn.
