I'm still not sure Americans really understand what is happening to us. In our eagerness to protect rights, we allow, no, we invite influences that desire only to remove those rights to flourish in our midst.

The enemy is free to play "dirty" but we must play by rules they do not understand let alone feel any need to follow.

The situation is the reverse side of the coin where "I disagree with you but will defend, to the death, your right to speak your mind".

Here, with Islam, we defend their "rights" to the point where their intent to kill us to impose their will is almost a foregone and eventual conclusion.

If we turn the other cheek to someone whose intent is not to slap us but to cut off our head, do we deserve to die?

In the name of equality, political correctness, religious freedom and Christian teachings, we are sliding helter-skelter down a slope at the bottom of which we will lose all of these.

Should we not begin to defend ourselves? To act to save ourselves (all of us) or simply follow Christian predecessors bravely but docilely into the midst of Roman lions.

A few years back, there was one such case in Lt. Louis. This was odd, because there was little evidence that the murdered girl was involved with anyone. The couple who committed the murder (Zien and Maria Isa) are currently on death row.

Real life as opposed to philosophical “feel good” requires attention and action.

What you mean "we", Kemosabe?

We should turn the other cheek only when necessary to reload.

Political correctness will allow this savagery to come to the USA.

The videos will need to be viewed on the site. A couple of them are unpleasant and not for FR. One of them, of the poor girl being mercilessly beaten to death has been almost completely pulled from the Internet.

My imagination is too much already. I don't need or want to see these to know how evil these people are.

I see absolutely no evidence at all these kinds of killings are coming to America. There’s certainly no evidence of it in this piece.

I’m pretty certain that there was a Pakistani honor killing case, possibly in the DC suburbs back in the early 1990s in which the parents murdered their daughter for dating a Christian. Ring a bell, anyone?

“What would you think of an American city, group, cult, or “religion” that OFFICIALLY permitted murder to be a satisfying, accepted part of their daily life style?”

I thought we already had some “groups” in some of the larger, Blue Area, American cities that permit murder as a part of their daily life style.

IIRC, Saint Augustine, in his “just war” theology, argued that the church could only exist and practice its teachings within the framework of a functional civilization and that it was therefore incumbent on Christians to fight when necessary in defense of that civilization. At the time he wrote, the Roman Empire was well into its fifth century of decline and was certainly no republic. Yet he could differentiate between the character of the Christian monarchies that the empire was becoming and the pillaging hordes periodically ravaging what was left of it.

We live in a functional republic which is certainly superior both in form and moral stature to the failing empire that Saint Augustune still felt was worthy of defence. The Islamists, the jihadis, and the Islamofascists have openly declared their hatred for democracy (and by extension, a democratic republic) and their desire to impose the Islamic form of theocratic government on every part of the world.

Their attack involves both violence and guile. It is an attack from inside our society through constant demands for one concession after another to accommodate their religious hypersensitivities coupled with subtle and not so subtle warnings of "trouble" if they are not accommodated. It is also a violent attack from outside. No subtle approach here, these attacks are intent on inflicting maximum injury on the kfirs, the infidels.

There is growing evidence that the groups "attacking" from the inside and those attacking on the outside are coordinating their efforts. And what about the moderate democratic Muslim center we are expecting anyday now to emerge to effectively engage and overcome these attackers? It may not, in fact, exist in sufficient numbers to accomplish the task.

This is a clash of civilizations. I do not see how we avoid engaging in a struggle to the death against any either inside and outside our country that raise their hands against us. We must and will win.

Well said.

I don’t think the American people understand the threat, a very real threat, to our freedoms. So many consider Islam a “religion of peace”, and followers can be moderate or peaceful or able to live among people who believe differently, but if they’re following the Koran, following the teachings of Mohammed, then they’re advocating the teachings and that is directly against what this Country stands for. As long as they’re a minority, there’s not much they can do to hinder our way of life. However, the numbers are rising and they’re vocal. CAIR, and organizations similar, aren’t preaching assimilation and highlighting what needs to be changed by believers. They’re not condemning the so called “radicals” and the few that do always add the “but” - grievances that cause terrorism, rioting, etc. rather than just condemning the actions of the so called radicals.

The liberals in America aren’t addressing these issues - it’s almost as if they think they’re exempt from the teachings of Islam just because they’re “good infidels” or something; they think by allowing everything, they’ll be spared or looked upon as something good, when they’re right there with the rest of us who are considered “infidels”

They’re using our democracy, our court system, our laws for their agenda and too many of us refuse to see it for what it is.

The following map is badly outdated, as more Mosque's have moved in across the U.S. since this map was published.
