WASHINGTON | A parody broadcast by radio personality Rush Limbaugh about Sen. Barack Obamas popularity with many white voters is drawing fire from critics, who say that its racist.
The clip, Barack the Magic Negro, features a comedian imitating the singing voice of the Rev. Al Sharpton, bemoaning Obamas popularity with whites who will vote for him and not for me cause hes not from da hood.
Obamas campaign called the song dumb, although a spokesman said that the campaign doesnt think anyone is taking the song seriously.

I agree, but those light-in-the-loafers watchdogs at Media Matters are delusional if they really think they're going to take Limbaugh down.
Imus may have had a long history in the business, but lately he was a tiny fish who was a virtual nonentity outside of New York and the Beltway; it was easy for sponsors to abandon him. Rush is still the big 800 pound gorilla.
I just sent the Chicago Trib an email at:
publiceditor@tribune.com
advising them that this term orignally came out of an LA Times article and asking them if they will clarify that.
I’m not holding my breath.
Rush has been waiting for one of them to say something. Now he can make fun of them for missing the point.
You're right. Liberals always resort to name-calling when they lose arguments.
“Im curious... Are they expecting an apology from Rush??!”
Yeah, if I were them I wouldn’t expect Rush to grovel at Al “not too” Sharpton’s feet like Imus.
This is a discussion on a Boston Legal episode where they talk about Obama talking like a white man, and saying “he speaks perfect white as well as black.” Didn’t hear any furor about this.

“a spokesman said that the campaign doesnt think anyone is taking the song seriously.”
This makes me laugh. You aren’t supposed to take it seriously, it’s a joke.
Media matters is always taking jokes out of context.
The writer almost certainly doesn't listen to Rush's show and probably never heard the song.
Notice the mention of Rush's "critics?" That means the story was lifted from an anti-Rush blog. Modern "reporting" at its finest.
You owe me a new keyboard! LMAO!!
Wow, I know e-mails sometimes get quick results, but not THAT quickly!
LOL....still the story in the Chigago Trib illustrates Rush’s point.
Probably all from Hillary's campaign.
Oh no, that photographer certainly didn’t frame THAT picture to look like some sort of 21st-century liberal Eastern Orthodox icongraphy. Nope. Not intentional at all. Barf.

They know that! They don't care - they know that the unwashed masses will read their tripe that Rush is a racist and the truth be damned! Rush prediced that his parody would be taken out of context and once again, he is right! Liberals are so predictable.
LOL
The only thing misssing is for is wife to show up with some type of cancer - perferably caused by something, well, non-magical anyway.
LOL! You picked up on that photo. Here's more to dry-heave on.
I’m shocked. Spike Lee is the racist!!!
