WASHINGTON | A parody broadcast by radio personality Rush Limbaugh about Sen. Barack Obamas popularity with many white voters is drawing fire from critics, who say that its racist.
The clip, Barack the Magic Negro, features a comedian imitating the singing voice of the Rev. Al Sharpton, bemoaning Obamas popularity with whites who will vote for him and not for me cause hes not from da hood.
Obamas campaign called the song dumb, although a spokesman said that the campaign doesnt think anyone is taking the song seriously.

Barack Hussein Obama is not taking this serious?
I take the phrase “Barack the Magic Negro”, as the most descriptive synopsis ever made of the boy wonder’s essential qualifications and abilities. A little magic to go along with the thinking that it is only necessary to say all the right soothing words, doing it all with a little Puckish smile, while skipping about merrily, and the world shall be endlessly charmed.
It is Obama’s best tool ever for ingratiating himself with the non-black leftists in this country.
Can’s say it would work with the Americans of African origin, because Obama is just not black enough.
LOL...
Crisp reporting Chiga Trib. No mention of where the term comes form
The president said, “I’m a bit disappointed. Oprah’s selections are usually incredibly good, but I found this a bit lackluster.”
The Reverend Al Sharpton immediately attacked the president’s comments as racist, asking “What does know about books. He is just using this as an opportunity to attack a successful Black Woman."
This is funny. They will try to get Rush “fired”. LOL. If I remember right Rush doesn’t work for anybody else! They may be able to get him off the station that broadcasts to Harlem, but that is about all.
I agree. It sounds like another Democrat attempt to snuff-out free talk radio-— now that they control Congress.
When will Peter, Paul and Mary jump in to complain about this song?
The real target has ALWAYS been Limbaugh....the DUmocrats will sacrifice one of their own if they can make the same “racism” lie to stick to Rush.
“Im sorry, but if Obama is not the Magic Negro, as described by the LATimes, then who is?”
Probably Hillary. We’ve already determined that she’s southern and was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. Besides, I heard that she knows what it’s like when something is run like a plantation.
I can’t wait to hear his program on Monday.
Any “jab” at Obama will be called racist. That’s why he is the Magic Negro.
Anything Rush says will be called racist, bigoted, homphobic, or just plain hate talk.

The gutter-slime libs will always attack the forces that show them for EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE. They cannot stand the daylight of TRUTH. And they will CONTINUE to try and silence the new media, and anyone who puts that truth out. The faux journalist of the Chicago Trib is typical of the quality of what continues to labor to put out trash like this article.
And for the record, Obama is about as racist as he can be as well — after I listened to an interview with him and his wife, where she loudly stated that “Barry cannot drive into a gas station without worrying about being shot because he is black...” — it became clear that this empty suit is very capable of playing the race card, and playing the black victim game, as well as that dolt Sharpton...which is really what Rush was doing the parody on that this idoit writer did not even realize in his fit to publish hate-crap on Rush...
Only way the lib/dims win here is we all let them. I’d like to have it on CD so could play it LOUD when at the gas station with some jb at the next pump boomin some rap crap.
What is racist about the word negro?
Heck JUSTUS BROTHERS is too funny too!!!
I guess they missed Obama himself saying he wasn’t offended by it.
Yep! Priority One! LOL
Hmmm. Wasn’t it AL SHARPTON who first called Barack Obama, “The Magic Negro”? If so, then the Chicago Tribune ought to take this up with him, rather than Limbaugh, who is parodying Sharpton, not Obama.
LMAO... they probably think he's part of the Bush administration.
