CAIRO, May 6 (UPI) -- Rescuers searched the Sinai Sunday for a plane carrying members of a team responsible for security arrangements between Israel and Egypt.
The plane belonging to the Multi-National Force disappeared in clear weather about 80 miles from al-Nakheel in the Sinai, reported KUNA, the Kuwait news agency.
Authorities fear the plane may have hit a mountain before crashing, KUNA reported.
The Multi-National Force is responsible for security arrangements between Israel and Egypt, as stipulated by the Camp David peace treaty.

Note that the absence of radio " May Day" broadcast or a continuing transponder beacon is a very ominous sign.
Its really weird that it crashed out of control hitting a car, because an Otter can glide to a landing very safely, with no engines. The plane must have had either a catastrophic airframe failure, or a complete failure of its flight control system.
From the sound of it, the pilot was attempting to set down on a road way.
This is what us pilots refer to as a "cumulogranite"...

I know this sounds strange, but when I heard of the crash on the news, before they reported that there were soldiers on board, I just had a feeling...
