Scatt Daddy went from 10-1 this morning to the now 6-1.

I like him too.

When I was in the Army at Ft. Knox, I went to the Derby Race. As a much younger man, the Mint Juleps did me in. What a great day.

He’s an experienced horse, with the majority of the listings in first. It is Prado who can pull it off.

At this point I’d probably bet a 3horse exactaq box: Curlin, Hard Spun, and Scat Daddy. Look for some late play on Imawildandcrazyguy.

Stainless isn't that hard of a material, relatively speaking, is it?

In other words, did it wear well?

I remember an Olympics. One US marathon runner had shoe smith shave an additional eighth ounce off each shoe the night before the race.

Any idea what they do for big stake equestrian races?

Shoes on a pleasure horse don’t have to wear all that well, they’re only on 8 weeks... maybe 16 if they aren’t too worn.

The shoes for big races and big events don’t have to last long at all. The shoes were chosen this morning for today’s track conditions.

I think I’ll box Street Sense in an exacta and trifecta with Hard Spun and Scat Daddy

I like to hear that. I'm across the board on Hard Spun and Scat Daddy.

Gotta' love Derby Day....yeeeeehaw

It’s a tough pick today, I’ve been trying to find a reason not to pick Curlin but can’t find one so....

It’s Curlin and NoBiz for me.

Is the NBC booth announcer trying to look like as feminine as possible? He looks like a guy in drag but without the dress. What gives?
