Interesting shoes he is nailing there, do you know if they use aluminum or titanium?

A few years ago I machined a set out of stainless steel specifically for a horse that was doing a couple of parades, made good money doing it. I wonder if there is a market for custom machined shoes out of exotic materials, maybe with fancy engraving on them? Think someone would pay good money for a set?

They look aluminum, but I've never seen a Titanium shoe :~)

There definitely is a market for specialty shoes out of specialty materials for theraputic needs... I don't know if people would pay money for special engraving though, They get used :~)

We’re going to be a bit sacrilege and have Margaritas, since it’s also Cinco de Mayo :~)

Oh I know that they get used, the pair I made was for a show horse that was scheduled to do a couple of parades, so the owner had me put some fancy designs and the horses named in script along the side of the shoe. Did look pretty cool, I polished it like a mirror, and it went well with all the fancy polished bit and saddle parts, at least she was happy with them.

Ok........I'm picking "Storm in May" to win. Using my surefire method of losing money at picking horses, here are my reasons:

I was married 23 years ago in May on a stormy Saturday.

I like the jockey's silks.

Last , but not least, gray horses are just so darn purdy!

You are welcomed to use my method at your own risk! :o)

No, never went to see the horse and I didn't think to do it here at work.
