I beg to seriously differ. If you watch the Zapruder film closely, you'll notice that with the fatal second shot, JFK's head snaps back to the rear of the limo and the skull fragments explode in the front of his head with the fragments flowing to the rear of the limo too. These lone facts tell the second shot came from the front. Any ballistics expert will very that to be the norm for a frontal shot. Not true. You can replicate that with your own experiment. Simply use a highpowered rifle and shoot aninanimate oblect liek a watermelon or a simple 5 gallon jug filled with water. You will see the same effect. Bullet enters from direction A, container splinters outward, bullet exits on side B, container moves in direction A. Makes it look as if container was shot from direction B instead of direction A. I recreated the scene using a simple VHS camera and a 4 head recorder to stop action/slow motion the tape. Simple and very explanatory. Try it yourself.

I also saw a program a few years ago on Discovery that recreated the “magic bullet” shot almost precisely.

Simply use a highpowered rifle and shoot aninanimate oblect liek a watermelon or a simple 5 gallon jug filled with water. I've seen that done on TV in an investigation of the Kennedy assassintation. However, it appears even simpler than that. The frame by frame analysis of the Zapruder film shows that Kennedy's head clearly went rapidly forward and down for one frame after he was shot. It then went back slower over the next two frames. The reason his head ended up back was because his chin bounced off his chest. You can see the same effect in head-on auto accidents where the driver's head ends up breaking the headrest behind him.
Anyone who sees the Zapruder film and concludes that JFK was shot from the front simply wants to ignore the physics and believe some conspiracy theory.

Correct, Solid. A "MythBusters" (of all things!) one-hour program addressed the question of whether the bullet could do all the damage that was done.
Utilizing the same type of rifle Oswald used, same bullet grain wt & load, structured gel bodies, precise angle bench rest(s), elevations, and distances, a 'reenactment was conducted.
The segment prep was impressive and meticulous.
The results amazed even the "MythBusters" guys. Nearly identical. Right down to the bullet frag paths!!
I'll send a note to Discovery, Smith, to get the episode number, which can be purchased.

Also at the moment of impact, JFK’s head is moved about two inches to the front. Then, it goes to the left and rear since the exit wound was to the front and right.
So, you and I are right. I think the reason no conspiracy theorist has ever tried to falsify the Zapruder film is because they don’t understand what exactly is happening during the film.
Oliver Stone understood. He reversed the injuries to Kennedy for his movie. I saw the Zapruder frames next to the movie frames. They are exactly reversed. Stone shows the injuries to the rear and Zapruder of course shows it to the front.

The most peculiar apparent bit of the whole chain of events though, is Jack Ruby.
