That pesky old First Amendment! How dare people have thoughts that are not state-sanctioned!

Here is the first part of the 1st Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...
The "prohibiting the free exercise thereof is always, always, always forgotten.

They should hit the school district where it hurts the most. Their pocketbook. For every hour of “silence” simply organize and pull your kids out on the same day. These schools receive government money based on attendance of kids. If everyone that protests keeps their kids out on the same day there well could be thousands of absences with a corresponding amount of lost income to the school. Just a thought.
Isn’t the school’s job to educate, not indoctrinate?

Since when do we need a special day set aside to promote the gay lifestyle? When do we get to have "heterosexual day"?What's next - 'I like sex with animals' day?

We did pull our kids out, permanently. Had enough of teaching of homosexuality and trash. And my kids are all adults, so it's been going on for awhile. Unfortunately, we still have to pay for the public schools.
And not to hijack the thread, but this is why I am so opposed to vouchers. Private schools are our last refuge. Once gov't gets their nose in that tent, it's over.
I wish that we had the determination to act on your suggestion. I would have been all for it when my children were in school. Unfortunately, many just don't care.

How about a gay day with free air fare from anywhere in the USA, to say, Burlington, Vermont?
...any survivors, we can bus them down to Rutland, and do it all over again...

"Schools have a legal responsibility to protect all of our students from being placed in an atmosphere of fear or intimidation. We also recognize our students right to free expression.Except for straights, whites, males and Christians.

This gets me ticked off.
Schools endorsing sodomites is bad enough, but by this action, they are in effect depriving these other, sane srudents of their COnstiutional RIghts under the First Amendment,
I hope the people involevd here take the School system through the courts.

the district that has been imposing the punishments, says those quotations aren't necessarily acceptable because they are from God's Word.So they admit there is a God? And they admit that, to them, God's words arent acceptable? Doesnt it worry them that they openly admit to not accepting God's words?
I know where they're going.

Meanwhile, the California public schools continue their scholastic race to the bottom. Gayday is just another diversion, like Earth Day, for public educators to deflect attention from their total lack of competence in doing their basic job which is to educate children.

The moronic minions of public school booracracy exclaimed,
“no free speech for you”.
The arrogance of the public shcool administrators is absolutely beyond my wildest expectations. Since I’ve moved from a metro area to a small town, I’ve noticed that the emphasis went from multicultural jihadis to just plain elitist arrogance.
My kids are in private school but my opinion is that we can’t just ignore what the state is doing to the masses of our country’s children.

We can vote against all school tax hikes and bond issues to protest the situation in general, but sadly many conservatives vote for the school administrators’ wishes because they are “local” and “know best” for the “children”.

Ernest! You've become so radical since reading that interesting book!!! (I think it becomes you!)
In fact, I think these preverted leftists and extreme left-wing Demonicrats are driving all of us to become more radical... "rad" as the "yoots" call it!!! All three of my traditional exclamation marks are "rad!"
Horowitz knows his leftist radicals!!! He was raised by a wild-A$$ed pair of 'em!!! He would make a better head of the RNC than Lee Atwater, God rest his wonderful soul!!!
