Democrats Bamboozling Minorities
Human Events ^ | May 2, 2007 | Angela McGlowan

Posted on 05/02/2007 7:11:46 AM PDT by redstateone

Liberals' dirty secret is that they can't allow the hoodwinking of blacks, Latinos, and women to end. The electoral consequences would be devastating.

For liberals to win elections, they must continue to ride the backs of blacks, Latinos, and women. Hence the rise of victimhood venders like Sharpton, Jackson, Sen. Ted Kennedy, Sen. Hillary Clinton, who preach a gospel of victimhood, even as they gloss past the Democrat Party's racist past...

They've been doing it for decades now, along with their willing accomplices the MSM and race pimps...Jesse, Al, cast of thousands.

Why they keep falling for the same old gag, it's anyone's guess.

They also use labor unions as victims. The rich Republicans are always trying to enslave the worker...blah, blah..blah.

If there’s one group in this country which is not a victim, it’s labor unions.

Isn’t that the truth! Couldn’t agree more.

Conservatives need to go on offense and start fighting back.

Yes, without commercialized victimhood, the libs would be in big trouble — that is why it continues. They are such filthy bottom-feeders, scum upon our society and as long as there are losers that would rather be victims rather than stand-up Americans with self-respect, the POVERTY PIMPS like Sharpton, Jackson and their trashy ilk will continue to prosper.

In 1960, my first job after high school was with a major corporation located in a northern midwestern city. The civil rights movement was just heating up. My Supervisor was an older woman from Alabama, and she made the statement one day, "Honey, you have to understand. In the South, we love our negroes," (that was the politically correct term at the time) "but they're like children, and we have to treat them that way."

Exasperating to a young idealist to think that someone could use such rationalization to justify mistreating an entire class of people. Well, that is exactly what the Democratic Party has decided is the best strategy. Keep entire classes, based solely on ethnicity, dependent on Mother Party.

I agree. So glad she’s on our team. What a classy, smart lady.

I’m buying her book.

That quote from the supervisor is incredible.

But it’s exactly that sentiment among Democrats that McGlowan describes in her article:

But I’ve got news for liberals: despite your party’s past attempts to terrorize and oppress our ancestors, despite your party’s creation of the welfare plantation designed to trap us in poverty as a means to inflicting electoral obeisance, despite your best efforts to torpedo school choice and keep children of color trapped in failing schools run by liberal teacher’s unions, and despite your assaults against marriage and families in the name of feminist empowerment and equality...

We aren’t as stupid as you think we are.

Liberals’ electoral exploitation must end. Bamboozle me once, shame on you. Bamboozle me twice, shame on me.

Blacks, Latinos, and women may have ridden the donkey. But the donkey ended
up riding us. The time for ideological emancipation is now.

AMEN!!!

.”Why have so many blacks stayed with the Democrats for so long? Former Congressman J.C. Watts refers to government entitlements as the ‘’liberal plantation.’’ Too many black Americans have been trapped on this liberal plantation and feel beholden to the Democrats for keeping the gravy train rolling. There are two types of people who escape the trappings of this liberal plantation. There are those who break the shackles or who have rejected them all their lives. These are the J.C. Watts, the Colin Powells, the Clarence Thomases. Those too frightened to make a run for it call these people ‘’Uncle Toms.’’ The others who escape the trappings become the foremen on the plantation. They crack the whip on those below them and keep them too scared to leave, becoming rich in the process. These are the Al Sharptons and the Jesse Jacksons.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Republicans like to platation people and industries too.

Republicans need to start talking to minorities about the glorious history of the GOP.

I’m buying her book.

Good for you! But mostly, good for her that you'll be buying her book.

Meanwhile, nothing much will change.

Instead of her going on speaking tours and book signings, why doesn't she and some other black republicans and Hispanics who feel the same way she does, go on tours throughout the nation to educate the "dumb" party-line voters who have been indoctrinated to just vote for the party that "seems" to stand up for their "rights" and who will "give" them what they need or want?

The blacks and minorities and women need to be educated regarding the truth behind the politics of dependence. A seminar or book signing is not going to "teach" anything. Besides, hardly anybody attends book signings or speaking engagements. The majority of people watch TV and listen to radio and read stories on the internet and in newspapers and magazines. How 'bout some "in your face" and intrusive specials on tv and radio?

The moveon.orgs of politics are quite adept at lying and indoctrinating their voters and keeping them in line. Why can't republicans, especially black republicans, try to "indoctrinate" those same voters, but this time the indoctrination would be with the truth and facts.

What a revelation, I’m shocked that then Dems will continue to lie, cheat, steal, pretend that some of them are Repubs, lie, lie ,lie.

I would give anything for one of the GOP presidential candidates to show the nerve to make this a theme of their campaign. I doubt it would happen though.
