Think of the CO2 being released! Not to worry—carbon credits can be bought from Al Gore.

Seriously—I hope that no one is injured or suffers property loss.

“Hrmm.. first the Bay Area and now here - looks like it is starting to become a busy morning.”

I thought the same...

The level of coincidence in America seems to have risen significantly since 9/11.

“The level of coincidence in America seems to have risen significantly since 9/11.”

I agree with you.

It’s a stretch, but there is way too much coincidence that this is happening (SF & IL) at or near the anniversay of the “Mission Accomplished” landing.

They don’t tend to happen minutes apart, though.

Never forget that bin Laden was trained as a civil engineer and that his goal in bringing down the twin towers was as much economic damage as physical damage.

In fact, there is no pattern regarding these industrial accidents.

There has been a trend with some Freepers to see every event as possible Al-Queada related without a shred of evidence to the point.

Then, when none surfaces, discount that as a “gubermint” conspiracy to placate the “sheeple”.

Will terrorists attack on US soil, of course. History will repeat. However, terrorists tend to “crow” regarding their accomplishments leaving no doubt to the cause.

Our ‘gubermint” will not be able to suppress the info.....

“There has been a trend with some Freepers to see every event as possible Al-Queada related without a shred of evidence to the point.”

And there has been a trend with some Freepers to discard any possibility of Al-Q related incidents here in this country, even though specific targets and threats have been made.

“Will terrorists attack on US soil, of course. History will repeat.”

Agreed.

” However, terrorists tend to “crow” regarding their accomplishments leaving no doubt to the cause.”

It would be in the interest of the government to withhold this information in order to avoid panic...the MSM has been a willing accomplice in the area of hiding the true agenda of the enemy.

You should be open to any and all possibilities.

I understand that, but I remember the first plane hitting the twin towers (I was abroad and got my news via the internet) and immediately thinking terrorism because of the ‘93 bombing.

No one else seemed to think so (the talking heads all called it a “horrible accident”).

Looking at the precise location of the Bay Area explosion (taking down two overpasses with one explosion) makes one ready to suspect the worst.
