Thank God this happened early Sunday morning. This is one of the busiest freeway interchanges in the country. Good video at link.

Massive natural gas pipeline explosion in Illinois this morning too...
I’m waiting for details on the tanker explosion...under the overpass...were any other cars involved? Crash?

There must be some mistake. Rosie says that fire doesn’t melt steel.
To: WSGilcrest
Sounds like the driver was lucky.

Was any steel melted in that fire? If so, please advise Rosie “The Pig “ O’Donnell.

But, but, but,.....according to Rosie, fire shouldn’t have caused the collapse of a steel reinforced structure...

Trumpets please...I see Sir Arnold coming over the hill on a white horse to tell us we have a blown up box bridge...
To: WSGilcrest
Monday is going to be a mess. Sounds like the driver stuck around and tried to put the fire out?

A tanker truck blew up Friday morning in Houston at 59 south ramp leading to I-10. Driver dead with vehicle.
I never did hear what his load was. Something from the petrochemical industry here I believe.
It is supposed to shut down the ramp for 2 months while they inspect its structure.

I hate to sound kinda tin foil about this, but something smells fishy. I’ll hold my tongue until I find out how this tanker managed to explode, and who the driver is. Of course, I could just be paranoid.
