Does anyone in the Mideast have jets that will stay in the sky for more than 15 minutes once Israel decides to take them out? Would they really need anything more than the F-15s they already have?

They better hurry. Hillary might be president in 2009 and the Chinese really wouldn't need a second F-22 from Israel.

Better do it before the commies take over. If we are going to sell F-22's to Israel, I am 100% in favor of such a sale. we had better do it fast, before the commies now in charge of both houses of congress can find a way to stop it.
Pelosi and her minions, reid and his ilk would rather sell them or give them to the PLO.

The F-22 would make their pilots lest detectable from the ground and less susceptible to ground based attack.
Israel is in the strange position where if their opponents bring down a single plane, they win a significant political victory over Israel, so there might be a real strategic advantage for Israel to have a few of these.

William Cohen? I hope he no longer has any influence....

Cohen spent his entire tenure as Secretary of Defense advancing his wife’s career and disassembling the Reagan military.
He is so far out of the loop that it is comic to hear someone actually listens to him.
But this is the media.

Israel isn’t even in line for the F-35, our true export fighter, let alone F-22s.
Enough of our stuff has gone to China.
I expect it from the Pakis, but not Israel.

Does anyone in the Mideast have jets that will stay in the sky for more than 15 minutes once Israel decides to take them out? Would they really need anything more than the F-15s they already have?We sell the Arabs, ex Syria, the same platforms we sell Israel, in many cases more advanced, and more of them. I know it's met with derision here, but Israel considers the Egyptians and Saudis highly competent. A couple of Freepers who have trained the Saudis indicate they're not to be underestimated.
