I think so too, but...why do the women always seem to sing 2 octaves above normal? Man, that ruins the song for me. But in general, some of their stuff is not too bad. It's strange about the kissing thing when some of the dancing in the videos is so erotic.

Well, the female vocals sound like much of the classical Indian music that I have heard. I agree, it may not be everyone’s taste (I rather enjoy it).

As for the latter point, I think that most of their films are directed toward suggestion rather than graphic depiction of certain actions. I have noticed that violence is not shown in graphic detail just as sexuality is not depicted in explicit detail. Personally, I find Indian movies to be a good break from the usual Hollywood drek.
