The Infamous 'Point' [Democrat debate picture]
Yahoo ^ | 04/26/2007 | myself

Anybody else get tired of "the point". Can you politicians (Republicans and Democrats) just agree to resist your political urge on this? It makes you look as fake as a 3 dollar bill.

This is a bit ridiculous.

I tend to think it will be Clinton / Richardson although looking at the two of them together it sures makes Clinton look small.

At one point, Mike Gravel, a former Senator from Alaska, said he wanted Congress to pass a law “making it a felony” for the administration to stay in Iraq.

Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama appeared slack-jawed as Mr. Gravel loudly made his argument.

I guess neither of them can handle unscripted things....

Sometimes you see politicians talking to each other while they’re pointing. I wonder what they are saying. Probably something along the lines of, “Can you believe how many suckers are in this room?”

Don’t worry about it. That’s probably happened to most here one time or another.

I’d like to see a version done with the “16-ton weight”.

I for one would like to see Fred Phelps (D) on that stage with them justifying his protesting of the Iraqi veteran funerals. It would forever stop the media from painting Mr. Phelps as a “religious conservative”.

The purpose is to convey “I’m trying to be cool but I’m really a total dork.”

It did occur to me that posting that image might disturb some viewers.

I posted anyway.

They are pretending they have friends.

ROFL!

The usual parade of ass-clowns just isn't the same without Sharpton.

Where do they learn this stuff? Is there some kind of school for political candidates? Does their political advisor tell them to do this?
