Naomi Wolf, infamous architect of Al Gores earth-toned metro-sexualizing in 2000, recently wrote an article for the UKs Guardian detailing the 10 easy steps George Bush has followed to create a Fascist America."

I thought Gore hiring Naomi Wolf to teach him to be an ‘alpha male’ for the 2000 campaign was like a pig hiring a slug to teach him tap dancing.
Good article marred by bad spelling.
Tsk tsk
Thanks for posting
One of these days I expect to see Ted Kennedy weaving around on the Senate floor shouting that the country is run by drunken murderers and that's why we need to get Bush out of office.
editor must have been sleeping
Or a duck hiring a weasel to learn merchant banking.
They complain about fascism now but they would impose it if they achieved power at all levels.
Hmmm, the article itself does indeed say “facist”.
Katie O’Malley (the author) must be a Freeper.
Perhaps if Bush used more “earth tones” or warmer colors, he’d be more popular with the “liberal” idiots.
Perhaps he’s not “alfa” enough for the “liberal” babes.
Naomi Wolf is such a moron. Typical lib. What planet are these people from?
There's no need to coin any new term unless its to soften the point enough to get people to take it into consideration.
So I guess we'd better get used to Sociofascism.
. But fascism is socialism--corrupt socialism(though when is socialism not corrupt?)
Mussolini was a socialist, he left the party for personal, not political or philosophical reasons. His adoption of Fascist refered to the Roman symbol of a bundle of sticks, expressing the strength of the many.
The partisan propagandizing characteristic of fascism was essential to the Dim party at its inception, prior to the civil war--this included attacking the opposition in the courts on trumped up charges and ruining them, election fraud, and slander. Both aims and the means they use define the Dims as fascists.
The Left wants to control everything in this country. They can’t stand anyone who disagrees with them. If you don’t believe me, go look at the DU discussion forums. It’s nothing but a compendium of “this guy’s an asshole”, “this guy is wonderful”, “everybody turn on you TV to see Olbermann blast Bush”. I tell you, these people won’t stop until they have total control. And they’re nothing but a collection of nuts who don’t have the first clue.
The National Socialist Workers Party of Germany, otherwise known as the Nazi Party, was indeed - socialist, and it had a lot in common with the modern left in America. Hitler preached class warfare, agitating the working class to resist “exploitation” by capitalists — particularly Jewish capitalists, of course. Their program called for the nationalization of education, health care, transportation, and other major industries. They instituted and vigorously enforced a strict gun control regimen. They encouraged pornography, illegitimacy, and abortion, and they denounced Christians as right-wing fanatics. Yet a popular myth persists that the Nazis themselves were right-wing extremists. This insidious lie biases the entire political landscape, and the time has come to expose it.
“Free Republic, Protest Warriors, Gathering of Eagles and other conservative websites have been subjected to spamming, hacking and overt threats and intimidation. Liberal trolls routinely scan the vast free speech platform that is the internet, looking for ways to hamper, shut down or disrupt conservative thought.”
PING!
This is true...but I think of the political spectrum as more of a circle than a left/right type thing. The further that you left or right, the more the edges of the spectrum resemble each other.
IMHO, there's not a lot of difference between a Socialist/Communist dictatorship on the left and a Theocracy/Totalitarian Dictatorship on the right.
Might be a great arguement to drive a lib crazy with...Their Socialist/Communist utopian worlds have more in common with a Right-Wing dictatorship than they'd care to admit. lol! (of course, they'd never see that, but....)
For the Socialist/Communist Dictatorships, I can readily come up with many (USSR, Mao's China, Pol Pot's Cambodia, North Korea, Cuba, numerous South American tinpots), but I'm hard pressed to name many "on the right", unless you mean Iran, Iraq, Afganastan, many Muslim Nations.
Socialism necessarily leads to totalitarianism (some forms are in more of a hurry than others). However, Theocracy doesn't necessarily have to lead to the total state. It really depends on what the religion of the Theocracy is.
totalitarian -- Having or exercising complete political power and control and brooking no political opposition.
theocracy -- government by a god regarded as the ruling power or by priests or officials claiming divine sanction.
I am a facist - I always discriminate against people without faces. ;)
Projection is true.
I remember, after I read Emmett Tyrell’s book on Boy Clinton, that the lefties are “political animal junkies”.
Now that would not be bad though sad...however...they assume everyone else is one too?
or worse...accuse other people of being political animal junkies and say they are not.
Right now we have Queen Hillary going on and on about how firing those eight guys was just SO WRONG.
Excuse me, what about the 93 you guys fired! How about the travel office guys that were fired to make room for your cronies from Arkansas?
These people are either seriously deluded (my choice), or just plain evil with two-facedness, duplicity and double standardism.
There is a really good book out there...
It is called “Deceived? Who Me?”
Clinton’s to the max.
Lol...the fixed the title on the original article but gasp...I am left to suffer the scolding of Freepers for eternity...
I swear, there must be 10,000 retired English teacher Freeper just waiting to break out the ruler...
Mea Culpa....
