Therefore trying to sell me something through a commercial on a Rosie show nets them nothing.
Rosie is worth a years salary to whomever wants to pay it, be it six thousand or six million dollars. I have been worth very little in some lean years, and I have collected nice wages in others. At all times, however, I was possessed of my sanity, manners and sense of decency.
Hey, sponsors love people with more money than sense. The collective sense of the audience of The View wouldn’t need much money to offset it.
I have never watched the View therefore, their advertisers do not have me in mind when they buy time on the View.
However, there must be a lot of people watching in order to pay Rosie millions of dollars per year.

I know several guys with Masters Degrees who are making fortunes for themselves. I also see the hordes of dolts flipping hamburgers at McFood.

I know a few people with decades of software engineering experience who no longer work in software engineering because their knowledge is obsolete; they are now busy making money in other fields. I also know several people in software with only a few years of the right kind of experience who ARE making gobs of money in software.
This is a perfect illustration of market forces at work and it also explains why Rosie O’Donnell is worth several million dollars per year. There are enough loud and proud, knee-jerk liberals who watch her on TV to make it worthwhile for certain sponsors of her show to pay good money to her network.
They're apparently the ones without dayjobs, because "The View" is on at 10AM in my neck of the woods.
