For all you FReepers that read the first 5 lines of a thread to see if you are interested, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING UNLESS YOU STOP ON IN ON THE OLNEY FREEP. We are always PICTURE HEAVY (kudos to iMacMan and [Mrs] T) with a good narrative (patting myself on the back) to go along with the pics. Of course BufordP and BMWcyle's reports when [Mrs] T and I are away are also great. Thanks to both.
So as not to disappoint those who have stopped by for the first time, iMacMan does a terrific job catching waves from passing cars. He takes hundreds of pics, reviews them, comes up with the best 20, crops them, and send them to us for posting. His arrows are also great. And I have to post the best of the best to keep this thread from getting tooooo long.
iMacMan's GREAT PICS. The third pic has the reflection of our Big Flag in their window.
And with iMacMan heading out for vacation for most of the summer, [Mrs] Trooprally tried her hand at getting pics of the passing cars. iMacMan reviewed the camera features with her for best results. And she got some good shots. Look out iMacMan -- Looks like you gave up some good secrets.
[Mrs] T's pics of moving cars. Arrows are her next lesson but these pics are great for the first try.
These pics are just a fraction of the support we get in Olney. We can usually count on one hand the number of honks that the moonbats get. And we have word from two sources that a good number of the honks that the moonbats receive are just to get their attention. Then the driver/passengers yell at the moonbats or worst.
This week though I have to admit that the moonbats got about two dozen honks.
We received several middle finger salutes. But the proper salutes we received from cars makes the anti-troop salutes a footnote in this week's report.
FReepers and Lurkers in attendance today were Cindy_True_Supporter, (CTS), Fraxinus, iMacMan, (iMM), Lurker Bill, (aka Lurker Bill from MD on Walter Reed AARs), [Mrs] Trooprally ([Mrs] T) and myself ([Mr] T). The moonbats had 7.
This coming Saturday, April 28, Olney will be short 4 regular FReepers. If you can make it to Olney, this would be a good time to come and help hold down the corner. BufordP will be the ring leader. Thanks BufordP!
The below pic by iMM shows how our group spreads out compared to how the grumpy moonbats huddle together. We also have 2 flags flanking us and 4 large banners on our side.
The below pics are by iMM and [Mrs] T.
BELOW LEFT: This Vietnam Vet is showing the moonbats what he really thinks of them. That's Fraxinus and me talking with him and CTS talking with local Barb. She stopped by last week and just enjoys talking to CTS and hearing from "right" minded patriotic troop-supporting Americans. The Vet said that he's going to try and come out this week. BELOW RIGHT: This lady brought us "some" water and cups. No one got her name but we are grateful.
BELOW LEFT: iMM took this pic of Fraxinus, with [Mrs] T taking pic of BELOW RIGHT: CTS and iMM. CTS and iMM's signs are specialLY made for the moonbats education. Obvious the messages are over their heads.
BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill with three of our banners visible. The fourth, blue banner is on the grassy knoll to Lurkers Bill's left. BELOW RIGHT: [Mrs] T and Fraxinus under the Big Flag on our left flank.
The moonbats (BELOW TOP) have some strange signs. Note the "Hands Off Iran" and to her left the "Stop War, Stop Warming". But it is typical for the anti-war anti-troop idiots. The guy in the blue shirt is named "Bob". He talked to Lurker Bill and me. He was looking for some Iraqi War Vets to come and talk at a local town meeting. He sounded sincere about wanting a Vet's side of the WOT. But after he stood with the moonbats (BELOW BOTTOM) I told him that there was no way I would suggest to a Vet to go to the meeting. He only wanted Vets to attend for either a tongue lashing or to convince him that the WOT is a mistake, then have him/her talk out against it.
REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney

WEATHER UPDATES HERE.
[Mr] & [Mrs] T
Keep it up. You guys are doing a world of good!!
Outstanding! Thanks to all FReepers involved. FR’s finest supporting America’s finest!
Good job all.
Your words of encougement and a reminder that we do this for the troops really help to keep us going week after week.
[Mr] T
Olney BUMP!
Great Job! Please keep up the good work.
Surrender Monkeys?
The “Hands Off Iran” sign always cracks me up. No doubt they would have had a “Hands Off Hitler” sign in the 1940’s as well. Liberals just love countries who slaughter and brutalize their people.
Thanks. Warmer weather makes our work easier.
[Mr] T
I see you put it on your links. At least they don’t look like lifeless monkeys. Usually they just stand there.
[Mr] T
I’ve been trying to find time to make a “Hands Off Olney” sign. It’s so easy to harass them.
[Mr] T
Congrats to [Mrs] T! All that “homework” is paying off! Let me know when she’s ready to tackle monochrome arrows (the candy cane ones are an old family secret)!
At the end I talked with “Bob” for a bit. Nice guy really, not at all rabid. I asked him what his reaction to my VOTE FOR ONE, [X] FIGHT THERE, [ ] FIGHT HERE poster. It took him a moment, then he said, “There’s another alternative.” “Great,” says I, “what is it?” He answered, “Negotiation.” Again, says I, “Great, with whom?” Sounds of crickets chirping...
We traded a few more civil words (agreed on several of our points), then left still friendly. I think “Bob” can be turned. He’s the first leftie I’ve met that I thought was worth the effort. Hope we see him again out there. Maybe we can come up with a nice “special” poster he can hold on OUR side. After all, most of us are for peace too, just peace through victory (with force if necessary), the only way it can be secured.

They’re blocking Photobucket at work now. So I can’t see the pics anymore. I’ll just have to use my imagination.
If you’re interested, I have Bob’s address and phone number. :-))
[Mr] T
Is work blocking pics from other sites? If not, why pic on photobucket?
[Mr] T
Great pictures, great report, and great work by some wonderful FReepers! God bless you for the good work you do supporting our troops and their mission, and defending against the doofuses on the other side of the street. We pray for the safety of our troops, and for the success of their mission.
webshots and putfile as well - not just photobucket.
Good Job freepers!
