The statistics for gun crime are widly distorted in the UK.

The biggest rise in gun crime is attributed to airguns, imitation guns and other weapons such as paintball of which there are few controls placed. The past two years have seen a fall in handgun crime.

This is really unbelievable. The WP article, at least in the headline, makes it sound as if Great Britain is doing just peachy, and peopl ehave beaten their guns into plowshares.

The reality is gun crimes have absolutely skyrocketed. I mean, the body of the article tells a completely different story than the headline.
