After watching Alberto Gonzales testify I have very little confidence that he has looked into this in any meaningful way. Cornyn tried to get a commitment from him to do so, but the response was weak and noncommittal.

Alberto Gonzales..... A total idiot. Words cannot express my contempt for him. He did nothing for Ramos and Compean. It reflects poorly on GW to appoint such useless people
