John Edwards Takes Campaign To Michigan By Staff Apr 23, 2007
U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards told an audience in Detroit the United States must get out of Iraq as soon as possible.
Edwards called the Iraq War a "bleeding sore" as he spoke to more than 2,000 Democrats at a dinner Saturday, The Detroit News reported.
"America needs to be leaving Iraq, this is very, very simple," said Edwards, 53, who is running for the Democratic presidential nomination. "We have had multiple surges, none of them worked."
I must say, I've been arguing with a lot of libs lately and they don't seem very well informed.
I do not know how one can pray to God on Sunday as a "Christian", and then vote for and support a party that believes in the unabated slaughter of the dead in the abortuaries. I do not know how such "Christians" can support a party that promotes special homosexual rights, nor a party that demands that we render unto Caesar more than that to which Caesar is entitled. I know "Christians" like that here in enemy occupied Michigan, and I call them hypocrits, liars, phonies, and traitors.
I no longer try to cram any rational ideas into their dense skulls because it is a waste of time. Read what I wrote. The Republicans, and people who excuse Democrats hatred of our country need to pay attention to what the democrats intend for us. Sure the alleged good human being democrats that you and I encounter on a day to day basis don't articulate a wish for soldiers to die. They support people like Nancy Pelosi, Hairless Reid, punk Edwards, Karl Lenin who love a high body count. Just as you and I hold ourselves accountable for our actions, those alleged good human being democrats need to be called out for their actions in electing such evil. The Republican Party needs to be called out for allowing this evil to triumph.
Having once been a liberal UAW/democrat goon activist, I can assure you that I know how they think. Luckily I have long since come to my senses.
And there are plenty of Christians who go to church and vote pro-choice. I've met them, and it's amazing how they "don't want to talk about it."
OK, I'm willing to buy into the Pink Sapphire craze, but why discard the Silky Pony.
How about Silky Pink Sapphire Pony.....?
Ever attempting to advance the agenda.
What is the agenda? It is here that the carefully nurtured myth that the RATS are united flies apart like a house of cards.
OK, sorry to bother you with my perspectives, obviously they’re not as valid to you as those of the “good human being” democrats. I’m not “dodging any real issues” as you accuse, but this is just going in a circle. You go make nice with the democrats and God bless you. Have a nice day. Over and out.
I like it!
The Pink Sapphire. I love it, Edwards will forever be known as the Pink Sapphire.
From reading the political tea leaves in Michigan, I say Edwards doesn’t stand a chance in Michigan.
The citizens here have decided they are trailblazers in the political wilderness. Thus, 57% decided to re-elect a communist back into the governor’s chair after she posted the highest unemployment rate in the nation. The majority of voters here are convinced it’s good to have the first woman state governor, and the first woman president. It doesn’t matter whether the female is insane, a communist, an idiot or all of the above. So it’s clear sailing for Hillary in Michigan. They want to clear the way for the first female anything, even if it means destroying the state, the economy and their families.
The productive citizens are fleeing the state by the tens of thousands. After college graduation, young people leave, too. The moron quotient is guickly rising toward 60%.
The people in this state have created a disaster that will require a generation to recover, but what the heck, we do have the first female governor, even though she couldn’t run a kid’s lemonade stand.
Maybe Ann Coulter was right. At the very least, he is a metrosexual.
Watch.
They don’t need to be informed to hold their views.
They are the antagonists of rational thought.
I was thinkin’ the same thing.
