Now, I don't want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required." Yeah, RIGHT. Now they want the government in my toilet?!? I just soooooooooo don't think so!

In a similar vein:
I just had to laugh at one of the Albuquerque NM TV news programs tonight. They mentioned about the fleet of icebreakers heading out to free the ships stuck in the “worst ocean ice fields in the last 20 years”; a moment later, about today’s snows in southern Arizona.

Then they segued (without a blink or a hint of irony) into a report on a guy who is “doing his part to halt the scourge of global warming”.

They showed some video of a dairy farmer who has installed a plant to convert the uh, runoff from his cows into methane which he uses to run his tractors and heat the barns.

They went on to tell us how wonderful it is that this man produces ‘carbon free’ fuel.
Too bad none of their producers or editors ever took basic junior high chemistry.
